Watching the VFL today had afew things stand out. Obviously aswell our output from players would be limited from long term injuries.

Ruck stock an interesting watch. Xerri, Teakle, Finbar then Goad who is a mile off. Free likely delisted

Forward line trying Dawson up there worries me. Dawson was looking great as a key back at the start of the year but now looks abit lost up the ground. Otherwise key forward stocks Larkey, Maybe Chom (absoloute daylight) Pink?, Sellers, ?Ngyoun and ?Dawson

Small forwards Curtis (also daylight) Stephenson, Harvey, Dury and RHJ - Word on the street is delisting Harvey so likely delist Dury

Honestly mids can be a dime a dozen but we need forwards and soon. I wouldn't hate taking multple key forwards. Armstrong needs a good look and if we trade back for 2 picks in first round Hotton or Berry or both would be a massive win

If we split pick 2, it'll be for one pick between 6 and 10 and one pick between 10 and 18...MAX.

And they'll get pushed back 2 or 3 picks after bids.
That's true but it doesn't matter if they get pushed back 10 spots, the same players will still be available.

Be interesting to see how Gerryn goes in his league debut here in Perth. It’s absolute dumping down. Very heavy track
Not wrong!!! Looks like old VFL days watching Peel v Swans at Mandurah oval...wet patches, mud, ball like a cake of soap...loving Bo Allan's tenacity playing HB drifting to the wings, reads the play and the contest really well, not afraid to go repeat attempts at the disputed ball - pretty stacked side Peel with Freo players everywhere.

Commentors can't work out how to pronounce his surname....Jerrye, Jerryan, Jerrain...kids got Hawkins size thighs already!!
Wish Champion wasn't NGA'd!!

Not a great day for the big man Gerreyn to make his WAFL debut.... I only watched snippets on-screen so won't comment on his play, but he is a big lad (still some puppy fat) with a long trunk and 'short' legs - can see the similarities with Tex & J Brown the way he moves.

Negatives: Westa Perth.

He has the lower half of Stewy Dew when he joined Hawthorn. The boy is thick!! Moves well though. Was robbed of a shot at goal there in the second when a teammate spoilt him.

Wouldn't hate that. Gerryn in 2-3 tears replaces Teakle and Armstrong within year replaces Pink
Exactly what im thinking, and both are booming 50m+ kicks which complements Larkey who prefers its within 40m. Probably feels like we leave a bit on the table tho, given we might able to drop back a squeeze something extra but at the risk of missing 2 that suit our needs. Life after Larkey (LAL) we'd have them both for a long time plus Maley and Duursma.

Not sure where all this splitting pick 2 is coming from? Who’s doing it in a supposedly even draft? Adelaide MIGHT look at 4 and 28 to guarantee Draper if they’re keen enough.

Big chance it is pick 1. Tigers play Suns next week and we are playing the two highest power scoring teams.
