Be interesting to see what agresta has to say?
Probably straight bat it lol
“ we clearly see this as a strong draft with elite talent on offer. We traded up to pick three knowing whoever is available at that pick will add something special to our list for the long term.

We have pick three, so we really have to wait & see who’s available at our pick. There’s still a chance of pick swaps ahead of us which could change who’s available for us - we’ll just have to wait & see.

We’ve been on the record saying we’re after pace & run to add to our midfield mix & we’re confident we can find this at our pick”.

Blahby-blah blah blurrghhh

For those that haven’t seen it. This is Cody as a 16yo playing first senior game for eventual premiers Echuca (strong league, good quality footballers)

I’m gonna call it now.

He will be in Cals top 40 😂

….. But not Knightmares

Underrated part of this. Whoever we lock gets out in an amazing position to grow without unreasonable burden.

Scott Camporeale winning a flag in his first season comes to mind. He definitely played his part, but didn't get the opposition attention.

Austin has talked a couple of times now about adding speed.
So if we isolate that, then to me it’s gotta be either smith or Draper.

O'Sullivan recorded a 2.989 second 20m sprint, 8.152 seconds in the agility test and on Friday ran the 2km time trial in 6:28 minutes, 93cm running vertical jump (2nd with 93cm) placing him in the top dozen prospects across the four events.

Jagga has a bit of Walsh about him in that he works hard and pops up all over the ground. The opposition tag Walsh because he does offer something that Cripps, Cerra and Hewett don't. Now if Walsh gets shut down, Jagga can step up to fill that void. They have to go to the hot hand.

Composure in heat we lack. Cripps doesn't have it, but he's so brute that he creates time in heated moments for himself. Walsh aint great at it and neither is Cerra. Hewett not bad as he's aware of his limitations moreso. Jagga is key and adding in the Campos sets up a tantalizing midfield and plus with Walkerboy in a couple of years we'll have a potentially juicy midfield/Wing units as we transition from Cripps + Hewett + Acres (Walkerboy, Jagga, Walsh, Cerra, Campo2, Holland2)

Mick didn't really say much. Likes Jagga's consistency, character and fact he has stepped up to every level he's played in. Said he never plays a bad game. Likes Drapers explosiveness and really impressed by his SANFL form. Sounded very excited by the Camporeale boys. Said we never had one player in mind when trading for pick 3 but knew there was a really good group of 5. All add something different to our midfield. Have plans for every scenario on draft night. Will take 4 picks in the national draft and have 3 spots available in the rookie draft. Didn't suggest we'll use them all. I suspect they will see who drops through and use most if not all on SSP.
