That’s a great idea - if we pick him tomorrow, I’ll consider changing my Nic to JaggaDayFeels like Christmas Eve right now, might go to sleep earlier than usual so tomorrow comes quicker … Jagga Day
heres to swimming with bone legged womenAbsolutely....no jagga bombs
Yep, would love to see this happen.Carlton picking Jagga would be Richmond's worst nightmare come round 1.
Jagga will probably get 25+ disposals against their scrub midfield, and Lalor will barely get 3 touches as a medium forward.
Hits the scoreboard consistently. goal kicking mids are goldExactly. Cripps bursts from stoppage. Jagga can burst from stoppage. Bursting from stoppage isn’t our weakness it’s agility and speed at the contest. Throw in disposal as well.
Jagga helps in both areas.
I don’t think they would select Lalor if they didn’t have so many first round picksYep, would love to see this happen.
Out of all the top prospects Lalor is the one for me that I think could be a miss.
Something just doesn’t sit right with him for me, I just think he looks fantastic doing average things (doing them very well - but avg none the less eg absolutely perfect form taking a lead up grab - looks great but it’s a lead up grab).
It seems backwards but I can see him being a good player - FOS, Jagga, Langford, Draper (if he stays fit) just seem to have a little something extra to them.
It’s also very likely, I’m very much mistaken, but it’s my gut feel
I’m the opposite. A few things going in his favour imo,I agree that I’m not buying into the Tauru hype.
He could just as easily be a bust.
Excuse the intrusion.Carlton picking Jagga would be Richmond's worst nightmare come round 1.

Might want to check your anterograde along with the attitude if you're Gunna bang on about memory.god I'm sick of this.
Who did it in 2023 when we literally set club and AFL records for goals from centre bounce with quarters like that one with 6 or 7 goals.straight from the bounce against gc. Like. Are memories that short or just selective?
As per my previous post, Carlton will take Draper ahead of Smith.
If FOS is not available then it’s Draper.
Take with a grain of salt.

We are flying Mick Jagger out on the corporate jet, apparentlyPretty cool by the Tigers to have Dusty present the jumper to Lalor tomorrow night!
Any word or rumours to who is presenting our jumper??
Hurry up an hand Jagga the #7 Blues jumper already!Absolutely....no jagga bombs
Both won a brownlow actually although I would prefer Sam to Tom if given the choice .Sam or Tom?
Jagga currently is an inside ball winner that at times has been a high possession player with lowish meters gained. He has worked on being more dynamic and driving forward.
Butters is a meters gained player, running forward 5-10m and then kicking the ball. I feel like Draper is closer to Butters than Jagga at the moment.
This is from Rookie Me https://central.rookieme.com/afl/player/jagga-smith/
"Impact per possession remains an area Smith is looking to enhance, though, making good on his wealth of possessions. He certainly made strides towards the back-end of the season."
I don’t buy into the fast fad if your agile and quick thinker you will find space to give and get.he's not slow when he's not injured....
I know it’s been said many times, but it was great work getting up to pick 3.
I had a quick Look at the Saints board and many are understandably lamenting the fact that they are sitting just outside the bracket for the top mids, when they need a quality mid so badly.
If it plays out like that - and of course it's a big if - Richmond would be handing us what I'm asking for. While I don’t think this is at all going to happen I do want to point out that if North were to take Tarau then that does mean that we could trade down to Pick 6 from Richmond and still end up with the last to be picked out of Lalor, FOS, Draper, Smith and Langford. So if our list team did rank them pretty similar then they could accept a trade with Richmond for Pick 6 and whatever else the Tigers offer (more likely 18 and not 10 or 11). However I do believe they probably have a strong preference for one of those five and will be trying to get them.
Had weight issues coming into the league, turned into worse knee issues as a result. You can see clearly in the tape from recent WAFL games that nothing has changed there.Isiah Winder
Unless an extremely talented ruck falls into our laps, I don't see us doing anything until at least next year's off-season.Again pre emptive, do we consider a ruck? Do we expect Pittonet to move on for opportunity next year? If Young is to move on when his contract ends, we lose more ruck depth, so we will have a need.
Walsh, the guy who tries to run 18 km every game until his feet swell, and has a history of foot and back issues?Hes also a smart runner more than a fast runner
Speaking of turning bones to chalk with biomechanics and game style... kicking isn't his only issue. It's his kicking mate. Only knock.
Allan and Hotton are right there as elite midfield prospects in terms of ceiling, and Hotton isn't a reach if his knee is ok. They're also in a good spot to trade back in for someone like Hynes if he gets past 20-22 (something I hope we also try to do).Allegedly they have tried numerous times to trade up but have found no takers (including North) at the price they're willing to pay.
Top 12Chopped and changed a number of times, but this how I rate top 7, which is influenced by players that can play more than one position
Lalor
Langford
FOS
Smith
Lombard
Ashcroft
Draper
Of those, think Jagga has the highest floor. Lalor, FOS, Draper higher ceilings
I think Hynes and Hannaford are criminally underrated, have both in my top 12
Tauru isn't in my top 12
They want Tauru as their Battle replacement.Allan and Hotton are right there as elite midfield prospects in terms of ceiling, and Hotton isn't a reach if his knee is ok. They're also in a good spot to trade back in for someone like Hynes if he gets past 20-22 (something I hope we also try to do).
If one of Langford, Smillie or Draper slides to them, they're laughing. Failing all of the above being possible or worthwhile, Tauru is great for them if he can cut it as a forward.
