Hawthorn a bit of a surprise packet for me. They looked good in 2022 but took a step back in 2023. But they look to be continuing their initial trajectory. Could be challenging for top 8 in 2025/6.

Kinda crazy to think they haven't won a final in 9 years (2015 Grand Final the last one)

and Adelaide continue to do Adelaide things by leaving the ducker by himself in the forward line with 20 seconds to go in the quarter. Completely without structure at times. Might be a good player but seems Dawson is not a vocal leader. Can't imagine the likes of Ramps or Mills not directing the traffic in that situation.

They were in form against us. We're just that much better.

Your comment made reflect back on the times where we would play poor sides back into form... haven't experienced that in a while which is a bonus.

there was a lot of players that looked like they were using the goal 'celebration' to slap the ducker around a bit.I would have chosen the run up jump and bump and accidentally put a shoulder into his head.
