People still loving Voss??

Every loss we have you can theoretically point to his BS coaching.

We aint finishing top 4.

So ok 5 day break, TDK, Harry, ok ok.

But. ****.

We can’t move the ball. The whole second half there was no discernible plan or idea as to what to do.

Where the hell is the team we were only 4-5 weeks ago?

(I only saw second half, have NO inkling based on what I saw how we were in front)

Had a lot of passengers tonight, but the Ollie Hollands conversation has to be had eventually.

Walsh too, a shadow of what he was earlier in the season.
Walsh needs to have the conversation Cripps had last year, stop trying to do everything.

He's breaking down our attacks with poor disposal, running into tackles or putting others at disadvantage.

Think it's time for a rest or a change of role for a week or two, trying to play through this funk isn't working

The result our form deserved

Don't think it's all despair. We land in the finals, we're a chance. Unfortunately, no longer guaranteed to finish top 8 now. It's tight.

5 goal lead, 8 goal turn around. You can lock in our falling away every game.

Shout out to Lewis Young. Thought he was solid enough in a variety of roles and we actually looked (slightly) better once he went back. Has to play instead of Kemp as the second KPD now (not that it matters).

Farewell home finals, it would have been nice. I was surprised we didn't make a couple more changes, the fresh legs might have been more important than the experience. Port deserves the win in the end, they were all over us in the second half. This is turning out as an inverse version of last season.

My fear this year has been if we don’t have close to our best 22 on the ground we will struggle. Today was an example of that

We have too many average, bit part players in our side that don’t do enough and to much is left to our stars

Put McKay TDK Docherty Jack Acres Martin Williams Boyd into that side and it’s a very different story. The injury interrupted seasons of Cerra Saad Motlop Walsh haven’t helped either as they aren’t anywhere near their best

That’s how I see it

5 players earned a vote tonight. The rest were ****ing terrible. What a poor game after half time. 25 point lead just wasted away in moments.

Collingwood next week and a loss could put us 9th. Wowee.

1 goal in the second half. **** me.
Pies will end our season next week and stick the fork in. Bookmark that.

Utter trash, blame a 5 day break as an excuse it’s BS, we have fallen off a cliff, we have lost 3 out of the last 4, two of which we were leading by 6 goals.

7 minutes to go in the last quarter, 4 points down and we are blazing kicks, doing stupid handballs to players in traffic and kicking to our players with two defenders on them.

Our only win the last four weeks was an unconvincing win against the team that was 17th.

One goal in the second half, gutless effort.

Bodied through the midfield & too predictable going forward. Unable to play the game on our terms at all during the second half.
Disappointing loss, particularly at home but we move on.

Just making up the numbers again. Supporters let down again. Average middle of the road side again. Watched a replay of the '95 flag last night and we are so far from that team it's funny. Hope the club offload the passengers at year's end and start building again next year. A wasted year. Lost interest.

With that said, the IQ of the collective to keep kicking it to the port interceptors in the last quarter was some of the dumbest football I’ve ever seen. Cotters kicking to a marking contest between Fogarty vs both Aliir and Zirk-Thatcher should have him dropped on that alone.
Seriously. What do you want them to do? Cripps and Holland's turned it over not kicking it. We turn it over when we do kick it. Voss was playing extras - yes multiple - behind the ball in the 4th. They could literally zone 4 around Charlie. Like. What the utter **** coaching is that?

I have several issues.

We can't take an intercept mark for shit at the moment. Newman's dropping marks, Gov's dropping marks; Kemp and Jacob are about the only ones who are contributing there, and Kemp turns the ****ing thing over half the time. Whatever we used to do, whatever system we used to have; it's been figured out. Opposition are playing through Kemp or Gov's man, and it's hurting us badly.

Tonight, we missed Acres sorely; another hard body, with more zip than the others round the ball. Using Kennedy as solely a forward almost worked, but we needed him round the ball.

Boyd is a defender; Cerra is not. Both of them are good kicks, but only one of them minds a man worth a damn and seemingly doesn't cough it up under back half pressure.

I do not ever want the rub of the green. I don't ****ing want any of it. I spit at it. I bite my thumb at it. It never lasts, and it'll burn you more often than it helps. Tonight, they got an awful lot of assistance from frees in quarters 3 and 4, but make no mistake we got our lead in the second courtesy of softness personified. That they seemingly dived their way to shots on goal should serve as no salve; be better. Take the umps out of it. Look at the up hill charge, grit your teeth, and go through it.

13 players out also hurts. Shouldn't continue to happen.

I'm looking at the club, and I'm wondering why I give them so much emotion, so much of my time and my worry. I'm looking at the AFL, whose tinkering has transformed this game into the circuses part of the bread and circus aphorism.

You could just see the life being sucked from us from halfway through the 3rd…we were out worked and out coached in game by Port

It was Charlie or bust and once Zerk-Thatcher sat in front of Charlie and Alirr sat behind then we had no more threat in the air

They had repeat entries and just got enough looks from capitalising on our many mistakes in defence.

Walsh had a decent second term but was shocking in the second half…Cripps was tagged out of the game….why wouldn’t you send him forward for 5 minutes or even take a ruck around the ground to help break the tag.

Cerra is a liability in defence…Cottrell is liability on a wing…we don’t have a third tall who can hold a key defender from double teaming

Kemp cannot play on anyone bigger than him as he gets pantsed.

Smalls forwards lost their zest.
A lack of midfield rotations in centre bounce infuriates me

And for all the weeks for cunners to breakdown and we run one short FMD these injury prone players needs to be cleared off the list

Pitto was decent…Kennedy and Charlie held their own. We got some bloody work to do!!!!

Lewis Young should have gone back DURING the first quarter, Kemp forward, point of difference. Beginning to believe Vossie is too one dimensional, can't pivot, OR his assistants can't!!
