Probably have to get rid of the following either this week or next:

Gibcus
ZReid
Clark
Mannagh

And would like to jump on the following to generate some more $...

T Berry
Sharp
Hore

Whilst watching...

Carroll
Dempsey
Answerth

Have 250k spare up my sleeve so plenty to work with. Any thoughts on the best move this week?

Berry has to be the priority given he's on the bubble. But how do I approach the 2nd trade, with an eye to making a couple more next week?
People wanting to jump off Clark are forgetting his 80 from preseason - can play! And if Mannagh isn't the sub, I think a few may try to bring him in..

A week is a long time in footy. If you have no DPP to swing Gibcus or Reid then you may just have to hold tight and get creative for next week.

Answerth has the bye so won't be a trade in next week...

Great post. But there's other factors at play. Lots have to choose between rookies.
I think I have to choose between TBerry and Billings and I'm leaning Billings because of the role and the bye. Kerch and Dempsey look good too, but can decide next week (again, will likely have to decide).
If you're in the position you are, and Dempsey pops again on Friday night, you could trade Billings to McKerch if you have a DPP in midfield without using a trade.

Think Berry, Dempsey and McKerch are higher priority to Billings (assuming Dempsey goes large).

Edited my post above, added more info. Really think people are downplaying Billings. He's a good footballer and that was a bloody good performance.

No DPP in the middle.

TBerry had 6 touches in a full game in rd0. If he does that again in a loss, he scores 30-40.

But you're right about Dempsey, I can see how he goes on Friday night before I make any moves.

I can't, because I'm utilising Daicos m > d to get Gibcus out for Berry. I don't have enough money to do it in one, so have to downgrade Fisher > Billings to facilitate.

But I'll play Wilson in my fwds and Lazzarro in my mids to give me greater flexibility to move stuff around in trying to plan next week's trades...

As I said, he won’t play the non existent pressure of the Bulldogs every week.
I dont think anyone is expecting him to get 119 every week but when playing the wing/half forward role, he averaged between 80-90 points between 2017-2021 when he was fit. 2022 would also be included if you take out the injury impacted 0 when he got poleaxed in the opening minutes of the game.

That's enough history to suggest he can rise is price fairly quickly to at least help with an early upgrade. If he's scoring well enough to keep longer than that, then thats a bonus. Add in the 130k to be made for everyone swapping Fisher for him, it's easy to see why it's an appealing trade.

Who are you bringing in?
the one man now owned by 31.1% of people who is only going to burn us all... eventually.

Not really sure, but I was browsing the North and Suns board earlier in the week and thought that Uwland was pretty highly rated (Maybe Tomorrow might know) but Pink not so.

I watched Hore on the weekend and he looked pretty good but I don't really know where he fits into Melbourne set-up.

I'm lucky I can wait until next week to trade in the best two bubble boys for Gibcus and ZReid

If you were reading the Nostradamus posts on the North board, just completely ignore them... Pink is fine for now.

Anyone going to bring in Hogan this week for the cash grab and possibility he could be a season keeper?
Not my kinda move. But I wonder if Hogan this week, then trade him to McKay is the play. Problem is he could have a tiny BE with another big score so you don't really want to trade him them

Yeah this was my thinking too but Fisher is setup to burn all the sellers this week it feels like

Would be classic SC! so holding and if he fails again just go straight to McKay

Man, I was going to hold Martin but I’m starting to get Peeney fomo…

Gibcus to Massimo
Fisher to Dempsey
Martin to Heeney via DPP

Idk

I’m still comfortable with the three trades I did on Monday.

Out: Reid, Fisher and Lazarro

In: D’Ambrosio, Berry and Billings

As an essendon fan surely you are not selling martin after 1 week. He absolutely butchered it, he won't do that every week.

Hard to turn down Berry's cash gen but I just think he could be a trap. Nothing about the way he plays says he averages much more then 50-60 and could easily drop 30s.

If it was another year and we didn't have so many rookie options I'd grab him. But that plus the fact he is 160k has turned me off him.

Rather pay an extra 80k for Billings who might not make as much but still great value and can play onfield.
