So how are we looking?

B: McGovern Young Cowan
HB: Saad Weitering Newman
C: Acers Cripps O Hollands
HF: Williams E Hollands Motlop
F: Owies Kemp Kennedy
OB: Pittonet Hewett Walsh
IC: Cincotta Binns Lord Durdin
SUB: Carroll
EM: Moir Fantasia Wilson

Something like this? If McGovern misses then Carroll straight into the backline. Moir Sub again. If Durdin misses then Moir straight into the team, Fantasia sub.

It's still a side that has a decent amount of run and mobility. This has always suited us when we have selected this way. Being small up forward forces us to play good footy. Possession footy in the front half, kick short more, lower the eyes, lead and hit up leads more. This has worked a lot for us over the years. We have made a habit of winning when Harry or Charlie are out.

Acres to spend a fair bit of time forward. Binns to get a lot of wing time. Won't be surprised if Voss sticks him on a forward flank at times. He likes two way endurance runners in that position.

I'm not fazed one bit about this game. We will win, period.

Injury list or not, we're simply better than the Stains, we will have 10K fans for every 1 of theirs at Marvel...oh and we have Cripps.

I had a look at their board earlier. They're cashing all their chips at the casino on ruining our season.

Aww bless their pathetic little hearts. The boys will win this one no doubt.;)
I just had a look on their board and the Aints have an unhealthy obsession with pink and salmon polo shirts 😂 Pages on it. While they are talking pink and salmon they are going to be smashed by a Navy Blue tsunami 💙

l would expect Moir to play with a lack of forward half options, whilst he is probably 6-12 months away, he still looks capable of making a contribution.
Aside from last week Charlie & Harry have rarely missed a game together in the past three years.

Disgusted at one of the comments on that Rabble Preview thread - one of them 'wants to enjoy their players poleaxing some Bloos'

Disgraceful comment!

I misread that as “want to enjoy their players pole dancing with some hoes”

That sounds more like St Kilda :thumbsu:

So they think it’ll be sane forwards as last week? Perhaps there’s going to be another twist?
You would prefer to go with some insane ones? David Rhys-Jones could play forward at a pinch. Mark Jackson went through a few clubs but never played for us, Ricky Maclean did but I think they are a bit past the athletic demands of modern football. Robbie Muir push to a flank? Roger Merrett at CHF, late career Leigh Matthews in a pocket, 1973GF Neil Balme in the other?

Heard on 3AW Gov is doubtful
Williams wasn't mentioned
Voss noted Gov and Durdin under a cloud. No mention of Williams. If none of them come up we would need all 3 emergencies and one more player to come in. The only such player with senior experience is Marchbank assuming he were fit, or debutants Lemmey, Wilson, Mirkov (rookie), Akuei or Monahan (both cat B rookies). That's really testing the depth.

Moir hasn't the fitness to play 4 qtrs so it depends on the fitness confidence of the starting 22. You wouldn't want to bring Moir on in the first half

It's why I hate St Blunda so much, some of their fans are as rotten as their club.
