Greetings kentlemen.

I have decided to bring in Steele this week as I feel like this is the last week to get him in while he is still value and before he shoots up past $600k.

Question is which is the best way to get him in?

A)

Mass > Clohsey
Jordan > Steele via Wilson


B)

Jackson > Meek
Jordan > Steele via Wilson


If I did B) then next week I could maybe look at going Mass > Clohsey and Bonner > Merrett


Thoughts?

Grundy > Gawn (I know he has his bye but it’s now or never, he’ll just keep going up)

Next week I’ll bring in the Heendog after his bye. If I don’t get him in I might as well give it up for the year I reckon.

Yes Gawn has bye soon but if he gets above 700k he will be so hard to generate the cash to upgrade to

id go with A

mass prob has shown he's not overly holdable as a keeper , but jackson has shown he is
next week is next week

His only solo ruck games last year came against Gawn/Grundy and RoMar. As I said last night, 112 against the former and a 104 against the latter.

He’s a low key quality ruckman, just never had a proper opportunity until now.

Breakeven of 152 would suggest that even I wouldn’t bring him in this week.

Might just go Jordon to Meek for some ruck cover and see what happens from there.

Although, Jacko is a near certainty to be a top forward this year given the dearth of premo mids getting FWD DPP. Meek could be a nice stepping stone to Engrish or RoMa in 3-4 weeks.

He'll be a top 6 forward, he'll be in every serious team after the byes.

If you have him now, why trade him out? Hodor could break at any moment.

Jacko can always be roughied back in later and in my case, i probably will. Right now with his BE and Darcy taking half the ruck duties i like the idea of taking that money and using it elsewhere.

Can see him dropping back 100k potentially which also means he will be bleeding points to the new star of the stable Flanders. Once Darcy breaks down again i'll go after him.

I set myself up every year with a R/F donut at R3 and a decent-scoring R/F in the FWDs to cover short-term OUTs at R1 and R2.

Would you bring him in now though given he is most likely priced at his peak with the monstrous spectre of Hodor on the immediate horizon?

If not, look for someone else.
