That was the mail from a mate at West Lakes. No Lukosius, no Cumming, no Perryman and no Keane.

I guess the increase in the contract offered to both Keane and Cumming was irrelevant.
I'm 3/4 so far & said perryman not coming to us, so reckon will be 4/4.

Houston - out
Solo - out
Lord - being chased by two vic clubs
Dixon - Retired
McKenzie - Retired
Marshall - concussion shakey ground
Boak - will struggle with another year

Both Perryman and Ted Richard’s likely to reject port.

There depth wasn’t great this year, next year it looks worse

On iPhone using BigFooty.com mobile app
Richards and Lord will swap direct trade

they getting luko but losing more.

port: guess what luko youre going to HB. but but you said, yeh we just said that to get you to **** the crows

I know they have ample HB replacements for Houston, but it's surely gotta hurt if neither of Perryman or Cumming get there

Perryman apparently a COLL tragic in his younger days ....more likely to get the MID role at Collingwood too

Seems Port want Perryman to replace Houston at HB .....the role he plays at GWS ....unless they're lying again, as they did to Soldo & Sweet

So… they are jettisoning an AA Houston to enable them to get Luko who barely makes the suns best 22 these days..

Thinking that they had one of cumming or perryman in the bag to stroll on in and replace houston…

Fxxk me.. thats just horrid list management.

Depth is very very poor.

The worst part is the backlash is exactly what we didnt want after an awful season and many managerial mistakes.
Play the kid for the final round and in his exit interview you have a stern chat about a more 'team first' approach while pumping up his tyres about what he is good at. Its not rocket science, but once again AFC fails to do anything useful.
To be fair this is our DNA

Dont promote the good but highlight the bad

I've had a rethink about the logo. Initial reaction wasn't a good one. But it's a bad photo that distorts proportions and lines (taken at an angle). I'll hold further comment until I've seen it in better context than a pixelated screen grab.

The simplicity of concept I like. And it will be better than our current logo by 10 lengths.

yeh it looks like it

I would strongly disagree that the club contains mostly competent people in the key roles.

Imo, we have a very weak board & senior management compared to successful clubs.
While Roo,Kelly, Nix, Reid and Hamish along with the board remain, the club will stay in the bottom third of the table. These people have proven them selves to be inept over a long period of time.

I'd laugh if Luko becomes the new Westhoff - in particular sending him to defence as the 'break glass in case of emergency' move

Neddy mentioned on radio last night that he gave his ticket to a neighbour.

Maybe everyone gets one ??
Cousin's Father in law is an AFL life member he gets 2 tickets to every AFL game and one GF ticket for free every year. So all AFL life members and all current players get a ticket I suppose?

Could be it, I knew life members got them but current players ??

And get a top 10 pick or pick around 10 as well to draft another midfielder in a strong draft.

That is god awful, Jesus does no one have a brain at management level?

This would have been fine, it feels nostalgic and the crow actually looks like a bloody crow!
And AGAIN you are melting without any proof that the report is factual.

We may as well have. Lowballing people to get them to leave is the same as kicking them out.

Guarantee that contract would've been lower than what Geelong offered, with more conditions.

I'd much rather us hold players accountable for throwing a young teammate under the bus than sniffing a bit of coke in the off season.

Being a 'solid citizen' seems to be all that this club requires these days, forget about actual football ability.
Due to this over the years we have lost Rehn, BV, Brouch and Stengle to this stupid policy. Enuff is enuff.
