As Cripps saidRealistically, neither Cripps nor Daicos should have scored anywhere near that high. Take ten votes off each of them and it starts to look a little more sensible.
Daicos scored votes in even more matches than Cripps did. Eighteen matches he scored votes! He's a bloody good player, but come on.
And his brother just got engaged first too!Lol that Nick Daicos breaks the record for Brownlow votes within a season and doesn't win, and also has 2 out of 3 goal of the year nominations and gets pipped for that as well.
Having said all that, these votes far better reflect the players and Cripps was right up there just behind Daicos at seasons end

Do umpires have access to statistics after the game? This suggests they don’t, when they absolutely shouldI saw this posted on the main board. There is no question that the umpires got the two players mixed up.
