Comes out right as everyone’s knickers are in a knot over Lukosios and Cumming.

They’re fishing and some are biting. F*****g dumb.
You need to appreciate that it is really tough for us Crows supporters. We have to watch Poort Pear smack the ball out of the stadium every fxxxin year during the trade and draft season.

Last year we did virtually nothing (apologies to Chris) and the Pear loaded up during the trade period with;
Ratugloea, Soldo, Sweet* and Zerk-Thatcher.

Then they swooped on a rare crop in the draft;
Anastasopoulos, Charleston, Lorenz, Walsh and Evans.

Of course they did have to trade that (former) superstar Xavier Duursma to get that amazing haul.

In comparison we had the usual slim picking;
Curtin, Edwards, Ryan, Murray and Burgess.

*I actually rate Sweet, always have, so one out of four ain’t bad.

I'm sorry but the timing of this story is interesting.

We have a player choosing between us and port and then this story comes out.

It feels like media manipulation.

This is dirty politics.

Yeah true or not, this has 'Port-aided leak' written all over it

And trade pick 15 for them so now have to try to get back in the draft by trading away Houston for pick 12 because they did a "Lever" on him by initially under paying him to allow them to offer Lukosius on a 7 year contract after offering 7 years at $850K for Perryman.

And they finished top 4 whilst we finished 15th, so yeah it’s tough being a Crows supporter compared to Port.

Posted this on Draper thread

Spice pretty good - someone involved at Sourh Adelaide

He believes Draper story is BS - Draper family are crows supporters

Well someone said something. 7 News wouldnt run with a bigfooty rumour. So its got to have a source. Maybe even a manager.

Hope so

Never believe a story when they say “those close to Draper” - ****ing who?

His school teacher

Can understand them not saying who, but it’s always going to be someone close isn’t it?
Can’t imagine he’s telling random strangers.

Ben Williams is his manager, he's not that unprofessional with so many of the SA boys on his books including Thilthorpe, Michalanney and Dowling and ANB on the way..

Are you serious

Media has a history of serious lack of fact checking

On iPhone using BigFooty.com mobile app

Yes and know. There are footy media who deal in rumours but ive stated before when you get to prime time news network the facts tend to be more supported. Its highly unlikely they ran with a story on the back of rumour without checking with someone inside the family. Even if its weve heard this, do you deny it?

I would say its more likely this is real than the rumour on bigfooty claiming the family say its fake.
