Bond is Back pocket perfect. He can definitely have a role in that backline.
Worrell can play big and small, the others should be half back/wing rotation.
Laird can play sanfl 😁
I'm looking forward to Bigman reporting that Max is training with our midfield this summer.. wishful thinking maybe.
Max is settling down just fine atm

There is?

So if a player extended, then there was a total break down in relationship with the club, he can't leave?

I'd be surprised.
I am not aware of a single example of a player signing a new contract and being traded in the same calendar year. There may or may not be any rules preventing it, but I do not believe that it has ever happened.

Mitch McGovern 2017. Signed on before finals, and was then traded to Carlton
Not until 2018 though

Although there were rumours (now confirmed by MM) that he wanted out after signing the deal in 2017

Hey, if you're not aware of a rule against it, that's good enough for me.

Pack your bags Sam.

See media reports Henry Smith from Brisbane may be looking around. I assume would be pretty cheap - Brisbane in desperate need of points

Maybe we do try and trade someone out?

You assume wrong, he'll be 1st cab off the rank for Daniher's spot unless they can bring in a KPF that chops out in ruck.

Why after drafting him as tall skinny kid that would have got blown over by a strong gust of wind and putting 4 years of development/size/strength and patience into him would they let a contracted player (2026) like him go pretty cheap. No chance he goes cheap.

You do realise they gave him an AFL teaser this year also?

People wanting some change back in the trade for ANB are forgetting that we don't have the list spots available to take extra picks to the draft this year. As Vader has clearly and repeatedly explained. With the list being so full, any moves we make would have to be on draft night.
I think the idea would be to bunch it with 42 and move up a few spots for points.

it doesnt matter you just go into deficit in round 2 or 3 next year. given we wont have a second next year does it even matter?

Also, McAdam for ANB in a straight swap is in our favour anyway.

That is what this trade is.

McAdam has been a dud for them.
