It depends if you want someone for the game day strategy or more a coaching coordinator. Ideally both but no many candidates around.

Anyway, that's what I'd do based on what I've observed but get he is behind people like Rutten. I wasn't expecting much support.
He'll wait until Tassie IMO.

There's a very pertinent issue though.

That list of coaches has been involved in successful environments and winning cultures both as players and coaches.

If they're continuing to build a successful culture then there's absolutely no reason why anyone would have an issue appointing from within that system.

Our issue is entirely different though, we desperately need a change in culture and that will only come from a fresh set of eyes and thinking.

Promoting from within is poor practice if you're perpetually appointing people from within the same system that's been mediocre for the best part of 30 years.
Fair, but the game of football changes.

If they've all been exposed to only one system, will that give you the best perspective to change for the future and innovate?

I'm not sure I know what you mean by doxxed in this context (!), but yeah I've never been secretive about being Kristof previously
You gave a fair bit away 1 time when you posting under that username

I think it took me about a minute to find you IRL

And then I promptly forgot

Essendons the sort of club that needs a boss who creates divisions. Brad Scott is doing the same now.

Brad Scott is a crap coach.

The PR job the Roos(/Brayshaw) did when they sacked him and blamed themselves for him being under-resourced etc and convinced everyone he wasn't a bad coach was impressive, but rubbish.

Starting to think Luko to Port is looking more likely.

Dixon retiring this year, he'd be perfect for them - he gets to play in (and significantly improve) a contender.
caroline wilson saying thats not correct. theres very little noise about luko fullstop

Sounds like he is saying - no senior assistant. The director becomes in charge, allegedly we interviewed someone in Melbourne and they speculate someone still involved in finals

On iPhone using BigFooty.com mobile app

yeh not sure the caption matches the intent

didn't he mean that the director of coaching was above nix and because nix is effectively the 2IC, the other assistants cant be senior they just report to nix
