I'm not sure Neale will be the only fix C Scott has in mind. I reckon he'll potentially swing Jack Henry forward as has been done before, and just rejig what the backline looks like. Does this open the door for Jeka or Connor O'Sullivan to get a sniff?

I'm surprised Blicav's hasn't been used more down back - maybe he'll be part of the reshuffle. Neale will get first crack but I think they have a few other potential tweaks up their sleeve. I don't think we'll be conservative.

Feels like Guthrie has been 1-2 weeks for about a month

Whatever happens from now, Hawkins farewell game with 4 sausage rolls to get him to 800 is a must and more important than a flag 😉

Other news, poor Guthers still 1-2 weeks, he’s really been stuffed since the 22 Grand Final. No wonder our midfield is weak, of our 4 best centre line players in 22, 2 have retired and 1 has missed 1 1/2 seasons and 1 has been in and out with injuries.

It seems to me that TBone is just getting ready to play his farewell game at the end of the H&A season.
Yeah I was going to post this. If we are not in it or guaranteed a finals berth he will limp back on for the last game.

Has been a champ and probably better to go with an injury than a boot up the arse

What about the knife? went from 1-2 weeks to 3-4 pretty quick the other week

We have seen this movie before. They are quietening the media and will announce at round 22 hawkins is 'recovering slower than expected' and its career ending.

I would like to know why cuthries return date keeps getting pushed out.

What is going on here? Has Tanner just had surgery to insert a pin? Why wasn't it done straight away?

He got injured on Thursday last week right? Does 5 days after the injury not count as straight away?

Between availability and maybe needing some swelling to go down this was likely the earliest it could be done.

Even though we (fans) may view football players & their recovery from injury as a priority, I'm not sure surgery on a broken bone would necessarily be a high priority depending on the extent of the injury

Obviously they were aware of the issue last week, but could well be that they wanted to see how things went over the weekend - as you said, was their swelling that had to go down, what was the pain level like etc and say further scans on Monday resulted in the recommendation of surgery

Pretty sure that surgery isn't necessarily seen as the first option when recovery can be via other options
