So... the proposal is that GC give up more than the equivalent of pick 3 for... Collingwood's F1, John Noble, and getting Atkins off their books?

I can't even remember the last time i saw Rory Atkins play a senior game

Well, given where we're at, I am not seeing Cripps, Bont or Daicos lining up to join us

It isn't where we are at is the issue, it is getting a clear image of where we are heading.

My comment was it didn't suddenly make us a beacon for every sought after FA in town.
the response was in the reply. We grabbed 3 good FA’s but had a shit coach. They tried for Dusty (almost had him) and then a few others but We had a shit coach. Clarkson did alright with FA’s in his past.

No, I don't think that works in our case. We are at the point where it looks and feels like we can get another three top 2 picks in and still win under 5 games. We aren't going anywhere purely with draft picks. People who think otherwise need to stop their obsession with draft picks.

The GWS team which had been given the biggest leg up in AFL history? The leg up where they used past top 5 players (because they had so many of them) to trade into draft after draft? GWS will probably be parity with NMFC in about 5 years when the likes of their hand outs hit retirement.
Regardless of leg ups. The premise of their build has always been around acquiring elite talent. Even to the point where they offload elite talent to feed them more draft picks.

You can spin it any way you want, but you can’t deny that they have ever hit the panic button and started throwing picks around for unders or overs for talent.

Leave that to the clubs that want to live in mid table mediocrity, all for a few wins here and there.

If this goes through (as I expect it to) never ever doubt the fact that players almost always end up at their preferred destination.

I am so over being shit

Because they dont need to panic. They had so much elite talent on their books they could trade into drafts into the first round with 2 early picks for over a decade 😂

They are also heavily backed and owned by the AFL. They dont need to stress about sponsors etc

Trade Radio saying Houston and 13 to pies for Noble and a future first?

Port would need to have shit for brains to do that trade.
Hang on. 13 is going to the pies along Houston? What are the power getting other than Ratkins?
