I’ll be very happy if we get Parker for something reasonable and shut up shop. In fact if we have to overpay for a player I’d much rather that be Parker than anyone else.

Keep our first this year and next.
I’m actually confident we’ll improve quite a bit next season without having to panic buy this trade period.
Looking pretty likely Parker gets done on the death knock for mine

Rumour has it that Ben McKay wants out at the Bombers and met with Viney & Clarko. Misses the North culture of no expectations and non-performance, keen to get back to Arden Street. Might be why we’re holding our F1. Stay tuned…

With Houston out of the picture, we need to hold our ammo for trade night to see who gets desperate for p2.

I still think Saints, Crows, Dees, and possibly Carltank could try to trade up.

Wait on the Tiges. They might want to fine tune some of their picks once their window is closed.

My bet is f1 for Parker and the Swan late firsts.
It's yuck but I can see it happening

Not sure we can. One used to be ours.

Probably a mix of this draft being a good one and expected improvement. If we're finally on the climb out of rock bottom they may be thinking it's 5-10 not 1-4.

Yeah I guess.

But is we this draft as even and deep.

It’s going to see a lot of busts just like every top 30. You could argue it going to be harder to pick a good player at 10 than most years. Certainly harder than picking a gun at say pick 4 in 2025.

We are coming from so far back a top 4 pick would have to be assumed.

I must say I’m surprised at the lack of currency our F1 seems to have.
Same here. But rather than spend it on pick 13 it might be used much closer to draft night or on the night itself especially to clubs that have multiple early picks - Richmond, St Kilda, Melbourne and possibly Fremantle. And you’d like to think we’d get better value than 13.
