l would take #15 and #16 for our F1st and then Give the Tiggers Pick #2 for #6 and #10/#11 so we end up with either

#6, #10, #15 and #16
or
#6, #11, #15 and #16
If we have 15 & 16 we don't have any pressing want to trade #2.

We could still get a good mid with 6 and have an extra pick either with 10 or 11 especially with such an even draft...

l still believe in getting two for the price of one is the better option...if we already have 15 and 16..

It's a good point that needs to be repeated.

Just because it's the same pool, doesn't mean you get a player of comparable quality.

Pick 2 might only move for Ashcroft.

6 could move that same single pick, but 10 could move 3-4 spots.

It's really going to be 3 for 7 & 13-14
And once again it doesn’t matter because those going at those fictitious picks above us will not be available to us through their ties to other clubs.

13-14 doesn’t matter when neither of Lombard, Ashcroft or Kako aren’t feasibly accessible

I'm amazed how many on here would do this. Were they not alive during the Scott years? Not having premium draft picks and instead settling for picks in the teens is what got us into this mess in the beginning.
Yep. Only twice in the last 10 drafts have the players picked at 15 and 16 outperformed the player picked at pick 2 in the corresponding draft. No thanks.

It would be an almighty coup if we pulled off 15 and 16 for F1. But for 13 alone we were looking to trade f1 (plus extras) to GC so I’d be astonished if GWS agreed to this when there is negligible difference between 13 and 15 in this draft.

I'd forgotten about that. The coke bit that is, I knew he was fat. But he had a great year in VFL with the new ruck rules.

If X goes down we don't have anyone who can ruck, our best option could be Maley - which is pretty dire.
Teaks mate.

Looked serviceable in the ruck at least.

Question. And apologies if it’s been mentioned before.
If LDU does leave and we don’t match the offer as a UFA , and we trade out our 1st Rounder next year ,that’s likely to be a top 4 pick , for picks for this season , do we only get a pick after our first pick ? Potentially something around 21/22 ?
Or do we have to keep our early pick to get another early pick , say pick 4 and 5.
I’m unsure of the ruling

It would still be tied to ladder position regardless of where of picks had been traded to.

It works off ladder position.
The only way we'd be getting pick 20+ is if we win the premiership
