So Carlton went and got 14 and then Collingwood will get 13. And then Port will tell them both its not enough. And Port will come back to us and Houston will end up at North. Is that the way this is going?
We're not giving them pick 2 lol.

We would need to split the pick first.

I reckon Carlton will put up 12 for Houston.

Some rather tedious pissing contests.
Indeed. Sydney traded pick 33 last year for Adams, a 30 year old that they didn't consider for the GF.

They are having a pissing contest with themselves now, so hopefully there is a strong wind.

If we really want him, we should be telling Port to trade with us or we’re pulling out in the next 24 hours. If we pull out, Port won’t have our leverage to get better deals out of Carlton or Collingwood.

Swans taking the piss

thought they were going to negotiate in good faith
Unfortunately they have some new w***er in charge that has no other deals to do and is making a pig of himself over moving a veteran in his 30’s.

History tells us these deals usually get done quickly for later picks to facilitate a veteran trying to extend their career at another club.

But not this w***er. He thinks he is trading prime Luke Parker.

The fun of egotistical ****wit fortnight.

Tbf our opening offer was pick 61 for a guy who just played in a GF and is their vice captain.

If we had offered up 44 originally it probably gets done. They are obviously a bit annoyed with the low ball offer and have thrown back a nonsense offer the other way. They’ll stop talking for a few days then probably pick up on Tuesday/Wednesday and work a deal around that 40’s pick with maybe a swap of F4’s

Wrong year for Beatson to take a step back. We are now stuck with a clown trying to make a name for himself. He’s Dildoro V2.

If Beatson was in charge this deal was likely done fairly and within a couple of days.
I think it's more likely that the agreement was reached ages ago and any media noise surrounding it is all for show and at the request of the AFL to try to breathe life into the trade period which they have turned into a farce.

Reef McInnes still in limbo at the pies 194cm athletic forward

Would happily offer him a contract
with garcia staying potentially Charlie Clarke who is in limbo would be a good free get to play small forward

Do you just see "young player not getting a game" and immediately think we should pick them up? It is like you are obsessed with us just picking players for the sake of it.

Neither get a game in middle of the road teams. Clarke would make Mahoney and Turner seem like Betts and Papley.

Picking up a busted arse couch off the footpath isn't a win just because it is free. Neither is picking up duds who aren't wanted by their clubs.
