Infamously superstitious number. I fear what unholy luck will befall us if we end up with that pick.
If we get it, it might be for some.....

BUT NOT FOR US! ;)

You're forgetting the top 3 pick after that. And the one after that
Don't forget the 2x top 10s for LDU and then another for Georgie, BGZ, etc etc

Wonder if we can hit 8 or even 10 bottom 2 finishes in a row? Golden times are ahead for the draft pundits...

If this goes through (as I expect it to) never ever doubt the fact that players almost always end up at their preferred destination.

I am so over being shit
They always get traded to their club of choice.

If we were to get Dan, it would have been in the last hour, Wednesday night. Dan wasn't going to agree to us if there was a chance of the other 2.

With Houston out of the picture, we need to hold our ammo for trade night to see who gets desperate for p2.

I still think Saints, Crows, Dees, and possibly Carltank could try to trade up.

Carlton can't assemble an acceptable deal.

Would listen to the others.

Looking forward to all the sooking when we stay perpetually shit as our top end talent jump ship every year to the bigger clubs (who 100% profit from GC and GWS throwing high draft picks away like they're cheeseburger wrappers..).

Oh well, pick 2 this year and pick 2 next year here we come..

Johnson R/V of North's Midfield:

"Absolutely love this midfield"
"Watched North live 14-15 times this year"
"The midfield played some really good football... individually, not always together"
"LDU, #1 midfielder, star, Class, ability, can hurt you inside and out"
"Jy - Another level potentially, but should be quite strong for 6-7 years, might not be a starting mid in 3-4 years with their younger guns" - Damo: So you're happy if he has no more growth with where he's at?? Brad: Someone may have to step aside with all the young guns coming through.
Sheezel push to the midfield has been excellent
McKercher will start to step up and play more midfield.
Didn't mind Powell's season, liked Scott on a wing.

Xerri was very very good and leads the midfield.
George is going to become the grunt inside first possession player everyone needs, which is why he likes the recruitment of Parker to protect him from himself.
Parker will be able to teach Wardlaw a lot on the training track.
Duursma will become a wingman and evolve, tricks and class, will get better and better.
Daniel potential... Houston don't think so.

Depth: Stephens, 23 yrs of age, Question marks on longevity and level, same questions on Lazarro.
Same for Wil Phillips. 3 players with talent but is it enough to be depth.
Teakle, bit forward, good marks, but needs more than that.

Depth C, to B-B+ over 24m
X-Factor B+
Rucks B+ to A - give Him a bit more room to move as he learns.
Age A
Needs: Build top end talent
Damo: You've pumped this team up more than other better teams midfields
Brad: Yup, this midfield is enormous.
JJ: They need to find 2x gun wingers to round out. Tucker was solid, don't know whether he's a long term solution. Duursma will work out what he becomes over next few years. Brad: Robbing Peter to pay Paul moving him from the forwards.
JJ: If they get Parker, whats the dynamic between he and Simpkin? He got pushed out to HF by the young players this year.
JJ: It struck me how Wardlaw gets from contest to contest, not just the inside first touch player (in the game vs Coll).
Need to find 2x wingers, otherwise this is a great midfield.
