Only sensible trade scenario I’ve seen on either Richmond or North boards. Both sides desperately trying to win here. Personally I’m hoping nothing gets done.
I think that trade everybody walks away comfortable and achieving what they want, or are at least set up to get what they want.
I don't think winning is paramount, not getting shafted is important though.

That's potentially trading 1+2 for 6, 10, 18.

Return doesn't match the risk.

Both teams would be better off abstaining. Fwiw I'd want 6, 10, 11, 23 minimum and they'd say no.
Yeah I don't agree. I think we will be trying to trade our F1 for a top 10 pick, but can't see who would really do it, maybe Melbourne and Saints, but they need players this year. I think it's a reasonable deal with a little bit of risk on both sides, but it's pretty minimal to get what you want.

If we were hellbent on trading out the F1 it would be better doing it in a separate transaction to #2 imo. Stops it's value being diluted.

I don't want to offload it but in this event would offer it straight up for a top 8 pick and whoever bids highest (lowest) gets it.

You would think that of course. But you see, our F1 is more than likely between 1 and 4 even if we double our wins next year so you can p1ss right off with that so called "sensible" scenario.

But we are getting shafted. Massively so!

You're giving up pick 2 and pick 1 - 4 next year for 6, 10 and 18! That is ridiculous.

The least I would accept for our F1 would be GWS pick 15 and 16 this year.
l would take #15 and #16 for our F1st and then Give the Tiggers Pick #2 for #6 and #10/#11 so we end up with either

#6, #10, #15 and #16
or
#6, #11, #15 and #16

Yeah I get that, but we want to move the needle now I reckon......we won't be getting offers under pick 4, or even pick 8-10, for our F1 on it's own, I don't think. I think it values our F1 around the 10 mark, and there has to be a certain amount of risk applied to both sides.

Don't mind this KK, particularly if we already had 15 and 16 before dealing with anybody for 2....as in "We already have 15 and 16, why the hell would we want 6 and 18!" sorta vibes :)

That would be so good, get 4 quality youngsters in one more time by bringing next years draft into this one essentially. The youngsters start day 1 under Parker, Darling and Daniel on track. My favourite part of this is the media will then complain we have 4 first rounders after pulling Richmond off for the last month regarding their 15 first round picks.

Picks 6+10 in this draft for pick 2, couldn't say yes fast enough
George Costanza Fire GIF
Brady when this deal is offered

No need to throw the kitchen sink out.

Like I've already mentioned, something like 15 and 16 is far better from GWS.

Then turn 2 into 6 and 11

Then we have 4 picks. 6, 11, 15, 16. That allows us to cover all of our needs in this draft. 2 x Key Forwards, 1 x Small Forward and a midfielder or defender.

Jack Carroll surprisingly delisted

And our boy Sam durdin

I'm amazed how many on here would do this. Were they not alive during the Scott years? Not having premium draft picks and instead settling for picks in the teens is what got us into this mess in the beginning.

LoL...went OS for a week an this thread was on page 101...come back and its 359 - don't think l could read 250 pages!!

But l am coming around to the mystery of Brady's list management..Parker and Konstanty for #44..Bravo!! But 25 for Daniel..com'on man WTF is that, not even a future 3rd in return!!

I only hope they can split #2 because ONE PICK in this draft:mad::mad:

We also weren't diabolically sh1t during the Scott years either over a 5 year period.

This draft has the assets we need for our list build and picks needed to get them are attainable. Make it happen!

We need to get out of this mess as soon as possible! Enough is enough!

Yeah I'm onboard....let's see if we can make it happen. I think it's gunna be tricky, but if we had the 15 and 16 it makes keeping 2 a lot more possible as well, which I don't mind either. I'd take FOS if Lalor gone myself
