Yes be happy with Peatling definitely get more mid time with us. Great two way defensive mid that can go fwd too... and back aswell stopping that rebounding def like he did with Zorko

I know it’s a no brainier to want to play for Carlton over us in our current state etc. But for how much less $$ wise would you take?

I imagine we would be offering 1 mill a year and the blues prob closely to $800-850.

Over 5 years that’s up to an extra $1 mill over 5 that’s a lot to sacrifice.

Put that in a term deposit that’s $50k a year for the rest of your life.

Crazy if you are knocking that back.

It's marvelous what difference clicking next page on big footy can make. On page 259 there was no way he's coming to North.

Anyone thinking we are any chance to get Housto is deluded. He came to Victoria and spoke to 5 finals contending clubs which we were not one of. He has no interest in coming to north hence the I wil will stay at port if a deal can’t be worked out.

The trouble is, yes, we offer 150-200k more under the cap, but then:
“Hey, we know you’ll get less under the cap, but here’s a deal with Visy/MnM/Hyundai for $200k to make it up”
“You want to start a business? Use our 150k member/fan base reach to sell your product”
