Brisbane took 158 marks in a grand final and Zorko went at 96%.

Watching the Brisbane spread live today was amazing when they win the ball at half back. They can kick.
That Zorko is a piece of shit.. But when he retires it will leave a massive gaping hole in that team.

Luke Parker is playing for us next year. Lock it in. Watched him straight after the siren today. Rampe went straight to him and they both acted like two blokes who knew they'd never play together again.

Here’s hoping.

If Sydney had won I’d say lock it in. But after losing so badly they may want him to stick around longer.

Nup. It was obvious that Parker felt he was done. He was only on the fringes this year and they need to refresh. Rampe turns 35 next year and is part of their Grand Final failures. He's cooked more than Parker.

Teams were saying that about Geelong in 2007, then came 2008, then 2009, then 2011, then 2020, then 2022...

Those years didn’t just happen…Finals in 2004 and 2005 and then 10 odd wins in 2006….

We are coming from a long way back

But he never did because he never played in a GF! But thanks to Parker and their other leaders Parker actually did!!

Anyone who doesn’t want Parker has rocks in their head when you look at our leaders lol! Our leader is a 19 year old! He deserves a Parker!

Some people cannot be convinced. The North fans with brains understand that we aren’t getting the superstar version of Parker as he is most definitely past his best. However, we NEED his guidance because it actually means something coming from a premiership player and someone who has been involved in a successful culture.

HB is probably the most important position.
They generally take kickouts, command the ball in the backline and start the transition towards goal.
They also have the vision to push players around to needed spots of field and help lockdown the ball in opposition forward 50.
Then why did we move Sheezel to midfield? We could have left him there?
