Rumours of 22ishWhat’s the expectation on Graham’s compensation? 2R after theirs or end of 2R? Handy for them if they get 22-ish.

so many options here.
Could we trade a F1 for the Barrass pick which will go to the tigers now?
Could we trade up to 3?
Ro needs to work on getting a handball off to a good user and i can't see why its not something he can work on and improve , but .....
If not able to what is worse ?
a) Kaos ball forward?
Could we get 13 & 17 for 8?This might as well be the tassie draft with Richmond expected to have, 1,6,9,13,17
The way to use the pick trading is wait until the night and see if someone is desperate for a player and will pay overs. Like what we did with GWS last year.Could we get 13 & 17 for 8?
its all just luck. if we had won the premiership and Reiwoldt kids were number 1 father and sons, then we would be lucky!F*ck oath how good is it the premiers get the No.1 draft pick after their free no.2 pick wins the Norm Smith. Then you have some flog journos think it's a travesty if we get band 1 compo.
What a farking great sport the AFL is.

diffferent coach, different list managerTell you what, if we refused to pay a F2 for Xerri a couple of seasons ago, but then do it for Soldo, then we're dumb as dogs**t.
If that is the actual contract off, then band one would be likely.Herald Sun (Jon Ralph and Jay Clark) running with the below on Battles contract. Hard to see how it’s not band 1 if this is true.
The AFL’s free agency period kicks off on Friday, with compensation for St Kilda over Josh Battle’s departure the most intriguing question mark given a six-year Hawks offer of just under $900,000 a season.
This might as well be the tassie draft with Richmond expected to have, 1,6,9,13,17
Our final offer was a reported 950k.If that is the actual contract off, then band one would be likely.
It doesn't really match up with previous reports he was leaving for less money, hopefully these two have good mail.

Would be wrapped with an outcome like that.Could we get 13 & 17 for 8?
Hawthorns offer is front loaded. Band 1 compensation is based on the first 5 yearsOur final offer was a reported 950k.
So it still matches up.
The eagles have pick 3 and by losing the Barrass pick they don’t have any other currency for a club in a rebuild. Why would they trade those picks for our future first?
Why would Richmond toss us pick 3 in this draft, for an unknown pick in next years draft?
Even so.Hawthorns offer is front loaded. Band 1 compensation is based on the first 5 years
The Coach using the Cone of Silence for one on ones with our players.
Even so.
Lets call there offer 875k.
You would expect a 2% pay increase year on year.
Would give you an average salary of 920k over 5 years.
Which is apparently band 1. Which the club have been confident of getting.
Crazy money for a fairly decent footballer. Our final offer was a reported 950k.
So it still matches up.

Richmond has said they are open to moving some picks from this draft to the next.
Suns giants and lions have a plethora for academy picks next year they will need points for
Listening to the right people means he could make good money on the extra salary via investments and be way better off in 6 years than an even spread or back loaded deal.AFL players don't operate like that.
5 year contract might be for 5 million.
You might end up with 2 million, 1 million, 1 million, 500 000, 500 000.
Its NOT a pay cut, you actually end up better off in theory.
We will absolutely succeed at convincing the AFL to abolish Father Son just before the Riewoldt boys have the three greatest seasons in u18s history.its all just luck. if we had won the premiership and Reiwoldt kids were number 1 father and sons, then we would be lucky!
I agree 100%. As much as I liked Battle as a player if we gave him 950k it sets a pretty high standard. What are are the other player’s managers going to want?Crazy money for a fairly decent footballer.
I think it's a big win for the club if we get band one. Because of the draft pick obviously, but also because we aren't paying Josh Battle 950k a season.
