The complaint i heard about the woollen scarf was that the "white" was not white enough. Working in the industry, i can tell you can never get pure white wool. What the club could have done is make the black pure wool and the white stripes acrylic. Best of both worlds, but i suspect the change has more to do with $. Pretty sad overall. Record membership in 2024, yet the first thing the club cuts is membership packs. Be that cheap acrylic scarfs, some members no longer getting membership cards etc. We should have the BEST membership packs in the AFL, not average packs.

Got mine a few days ago. Only thing that matters in the membership is the ability to attend games. Anything else is a bonus. I don’t mind the new scarf. Only thing missing I think is the years of service but that’s very little given mine usually ends up in the drawer lol
I don't think it's fair that some get the cards and others don't. Even if you don't use them (some use he digital version) sometimes its nice to have the memento
The issue was raised at the AGM, so hopefully next year they do better

Polo, cap and scarf now all you get is a lanyard, sticker and still the scarf
