And he is .. it’s all part of the learning curve 2nd innings for him batting three
No but he’s still learning that’s the pointHitting singles is dependent on batting position now?
I do notice very early in an innings he usually hits the fielders quite a bit. And he often has to feel the pressure to hit out if he gets bogged down a bit in white ball. He’s very technically correct with hard hands and using the full face of the bat. Even just changing the angling of his wrists so the ball finds the gap and not a fielder will add a heap of runs.
He’s probably been so much stronger in his junior career that he’s never needed to worry. If he works on it he will definitely improve a lot.
Yup stupid by the West IndiansI didnt catch the 1st ODI, im assuming Walsh who was dropped was a spinner? Hearing O'Keefe was quite critical of West Indies dropping him for this game.
Looks a bit two pace holding up at back of a lengthIf it was the wicket contributing to the dismissals then the match could be very interesting. Do like a tricky to bat ODI.
Motie is still there and I think the #3 batsman who came in can bowl some off breaks.I didnt catch the 1st ODI, im assuming Walsh who was dropped was a spinner? Hearing O'Keefe was quite critical of West Indies dropping him for this game.
