Public transport
- Take the Route 109 tram (Port Melbourne - Box Hill) to North Port light rail station. Short walk up Raglan Street to the ground.
- Take the Route 235 bus (City - Fisherman's Bend via Williamstown Road) to the Ingles St / Williamstown Road stop right outside the ground.

- This will be Collingwood's first appearance in a Preliminary Final since 2009. On that day, the Magpies lost the 1st Preliminary Final to North Ballarat by 61 points, after trailing by just 3 points at half time.
- If Collingwood win, then Dale Tapping will overtake the VFL Magpies' only other finals coach (winning and otherwise), Gavin Brown, for wins. Both are currently equal on finals victories, with 2 apiece. Brown coached Collingwood to four finals appearances in 2009 and 2010, while Tapping has led the Maggies into five finals matches since 2013, with this coming Preliminary Final to be his sixth.
