I reckon he is fairly cooked after the first 12 games. The bye will definitely help him
Yep the freshen up will do him well, i maintain we use him at half back tho. I wouldn't have said that at the start of the season, but seeing how well he went its a no brainer imo.
Having that quarterback type able to hit corridor targets is massive. We have plenty of mids already and he can be used to pinch hit up forward from time to time even though he'll have plenty of chances to kick goals from HB when the backs press up.

Apart from the game where he kicked 3 and had 20-odd possessions, I feel his kicking has been better utilised and more damaging across HB. We haven't yet seen the ball enough in his hands for that final kick inside 50 enough to judge absolutely, but at this stage our defence has been so all over the place, the only reliable kick out out defensive 50 over the last month has been Logue.

I’d be happy if we rest him this week or some point down the track. However sheez seems like a bloke who is hellbent on playing each game and is as competitive as they come and is very committed when it comes to recovery it seems judging by that interview with 7

He's so good we're already used to it and are starting to take him for granted.

He had 24 touches at 75% and set a career high amount of pressure points with 54, suggesting the juice is there and he's working hard defensively.

I watched each of his touches back and he was still very classy and made his touches count. The main thing he appeared to do (and I don't know if this was a coaching directive) was kick long to 2v2 or 1v1 contests, at least more so than usual. Nothing wrong with that, particularly as most of his kicks were to advantage or at worst, a 50/50 ball.

He's ridiculously good.

Forgot the bye
He’s slowly introducing the Jack Ziebell dump kick into his repertoire.

The bye will come at a good time for him.
Forget waiting for the bye round , it's time to give him a rest now. The kids just fatigued trying to cover the likes Hall and Ziebell and playing all over the place.
