Hoping the media just trying to keep interest in an award that if was handed out now would be sheezels in a landslide.

The more important debate is.... is he a walk up start for the AA side?

IMO daicos shouldve been at least squad of 40. I probably wouldve found a way to squeeze him into the side.

Sheezels stat's are on another level to daicos.
Wake up mate Sheezel plays for us and won’t win it but if he played for any other club he would win it.
Trust me the selectors with there egos will make sure of it.

Not enough goal assists. Harry should win this by The Flemington straight he has been that good so it’s a possibility. But as North man suggested they will find some way to twist why he didn’t win it, just you wait and see hey!

He's stupidly good. There was one kick to Zurhaar which set up Larkey's second goal where he literally changed the kick at the last second off the outside of his boot.
Yes! This was coming up the wing where I was sitting and I saw it too.

But I didn’t think it was him changing the kick at the last minute, I thought it was like a no look pass type play where his eyes and body were pointing in a different direction to the kick.

It will be along the lines of Ashcroft playing more midfield minutes and shining in an already strong midfield group.

A lot of delightful Sheezel/Wardlaw (and Scott and Powell and Phillips) passing the ball among themselves and getting out of congestion now he is getting further up the ground more.

Harry and Tarryn have got a cute little bromance going on
via Insta 💙.

Harry is so freaking impressive on-field as we know, but particularly off-field. It really feels like he’s taken ownership of getting this club back to being respected again and appears to have already had a big influence on team morale.

What excellent attributes he has. Impressive.

NMFC Media looks back on the 2023 AFL season's first 14 rounds

On the path for a potential maiden best and fairest victory is 2022 No.3 draft selection Harry Sheezel, who has taken the AFL world by storm in his debut season.

A gifted forward at junior level, Sheezel has been deployed mostly off half-back in 2023. Despite being relatively new to the role, the 18-year-old has shot to 10th in the league for total disposals with 374 (behind leader Tim Taranto's 448) and third for defensive-half pressure acts with 199 (behind Taranto's 209 and Matt Rowell's 207).

That's incredibly impressive. And alot of people say he just gets cheapies off the HBF.

Did some thinking today given all the midseason discussion that's surfaced recently and I couldn't come up with anyone that is currently outdoing him for the BnF. Larkey's been a bit hot and cold (albeit probably snags it if he keeps this scoring rate up), Goldy's up there but I wouldn't say his season has been better, and there's no one else who really gets close to those three atm. Scott's improved but his first eight weeks was shit.

Poor bugger's already raised expectations to the level that we, and everyone else, take his output for granted. Will be an absolute farce if he wins the B&F but not the rising star, but you can envision it happening, can't you
