I think Carey was made captain at 21. Sheez is 18 now. Even if Sheez were to be instilled captain in 2026 he'd still be younger than Carey was.Who was the youngest captain ever in this sport? Just wondering..

Wake up mate Sheezel plays for us and won’t win it but if he played for any other club he would win it.Hoping the media just trying to keep interest in an award that if was handed out now would be sheezels in a landslide.
The more important debate is.... is he a walk up start for the AA side?
IMO daicos shouldve been at least squad of 40. I probably wouldve found a way to squeeze him into the side.
Sheezels stat's are on another level to daicos.
Yes! This was coming up the wing where I was sitting and I saw it too. He's stupidly good. There was one kick to Zurhaar which set up Larkey's second goal where he literally changed the kick at the last second off the outside of his boot.
It will be along the lines of Ashcroft playing more midfield minutes and shining in an already strong midfield group. Not enough goal assists. Harry should win this by The Flemington straight he has been that good so it’s a possibility. But as North man suggested they will find some way to twist why he didn’t win it, just you wait and see hey!
Probably only half register as stats. Harlem globetrotter stuff. Loved seeing PC’s scoop through the legs too. Some of Harry's handballs are blink and you miss them speed, and almost always 100% best option.
Harry and Tarryn have got a cute little bromance going on

Harry is so freaking impressive on-field as we know, but particularly off-field. It really feels like he’s taken ownership of getting this club back to being respected again and appears to have already had a big influence on team morale.
What excellent attributes he has. Impressive.
He could legitimately win the bnf and loose the rising star to Wardlaw. Can’t wait to see him announced as our bnf winner
Rising star award also
Wardlaw isn’t winning the rising star, this year at least. He could legitimately win the bnf and loose the rising star to Wardlaw.
That's incredibly impressive. And alot of people say he just gets cheapies off the HBF.NMFC Media looks back on the 2023 AFL season's first 14 rounds
On the path for a potential maiden best and fairest victory is 2022 No.3 draft selection Harry Sheezel, who has taken the AFL world by storm in his debut season.
A gifted forward at junior level, Sheezel has been deployed mostly off half-back in 2023. Despite being relatively new to the role, the 18-year-old has shot to 10th in the league for total disposals with 374 (behind leader Tim Taranto's 448) and third for defensive-half pressure acts with 199 (behind Taranto's 209 and Matt Rowell's 207).
Yes you can, and people to pile shit on us about it.Poor bugger's already raised expectations to the level that we, and everyone else, take his output for granted. Will be an absolute farce if he wins the B&F but not the rising star, but you can envision it happening, can't you
