Thing is he practices bouncing the ball like that. He’s basically created a new footy skill and perfected it at age 19. I’m sure other people have done it before (Powelly comes to mind actually) but this is becoming something he uses regularly.
Those little plays in isolation look like flukes but they happen to frequently to be outliers.
Like peter daicos goals in the past you could be forgiven for thinking were flukes.
Being overly critical now, I know. But the last few or maybe more games, I’ve seen him do a jy type of of turn over where he has slowed the movement down but laced it out directly to the opp player.

Reckon we might have to come up with a new challenge for him, like simultaneously solving a rubiks cube whilst doing so?

He's pretty good.
But it's simply not possible.
Because not even GAJ is better than Carey imo.
It's not possible for a midfielder to be as good as Carey and Ablett Snr in my opinion.
The closest time I have ever considered it might've been possible was West Coast Judd, but he didn't sustain it for his career, despite winning a Brownlow at Carlton.
You can't even use the age card.
Because what Carey was doing at 20 was probably even more impressive than what Sheez is doing as a 19 year old mid given the size and physicality of that era of key defenders.
Gaz Snr is probably the most talented footballer ever, if he didn't have a screw loose and had the competitiveness and team drive that Duck had, he could have been the undisputed #1.

Hi,
If anyone was at the game, were they booing him? He has never been booed before and I presume it is just a "carlton fans are the worst people" type thing. Juts seems weird to me to boo him of all people.

I'd say so yeah, considering he's 19 and in a bottom side and playing no longer in the backline he's slotted in seamlessly and still pulls crazy numbers, even on a down week.
