The fact they were meant to send their views over text message is completely irrelevant*, the issue is that they couldn't complete the absolute bare minimum as asked by the coach. *While it was said that all they had to do was send their views over text message, it was my interpretation that this was the bare minimum they had to do to satisfy the coach. They could've obviously submitted the 3 things any way they liked.

Also I find it hilarious that they were going to talk to Arthur on Monday about something due on Saturday.

It's not high school where you don't see your teacher on the weekend. They are staying at the same hotel. If you don't want to send a text then talk to him on Saturday or Sunday.

Maybe this was a particular exercise designed to throw a bit of responsibility back onto the players to do a bit of individual thinking and soul searching.
