I just backed India at 4.40 to win.

I can see this track being really hard to bat on by the fifth day and we will have to bat last. India have picked 5 bowlers inc two class spinners. We have no class spinners.

For Australia not to lose I think they will need to have at least a 100 run lead after the first innings. That is likely to need to be 550.

India look a good bet to me.

Personally, i dont think people realise what a mighty effort it is to have India 5/300 on that pitch, if we can roll them for under 350 or 400 then we can hopefully start to dictate terms.

Look, I still want Australia to win. I've just put my punting hat on.

The second new ball will be vital because if Tendulker stays in another session they will be close to 450. That spells trouble for the Aussies.

Australia would not want to chase much more than 200 on the last day.

India has to be the value bet at $4.50 from here.

As good as the Aussie side are, I just feel that the rate that bat at, they are due to lose wickets scoring at 4.00-4.50 runs per over. (like the WACA test match)

i also think the draw is short at $2.30, aussies rarely if ever play for draws.

Has anyone of you Aussie supporters mentioned that Shewag was out of a no ball? CH 9 showed the side on replay once and then stopped doing it lol. I think we need technology to help the umpires and the no ball rule should be changed to the back foot. I just think that with the umpire looking down at the front foot and the ball traveling at 150kmph it's too hard for them to look up focus the eyes etc to pick up the ball so quickly. That's just my opinion what do you guys think?

Dhoni's proven this tour that he really still has a long way to go. He slogs well in the T20 game, but in the real thing he still needs a hell lot of improvement

Also goes alright in the 50 over version too, but agree he seems to be struggling at Test level.

150 to the great man. Beautiful way to bring it up

And he's hurt, edging while pulling

One very very minor observation that's not meant to criticise the great man, but his pulls and hooks aren't what they used to be. Maybe the heavy bat has something to do with it. He was as fearsome a puller and hooker as anyone years ago.

Can we hurry the **** up and bowl them out. I have a supermarket lasagne heating up in the oven, even though the meat probably originated from the arseh*le of a cow. It's so ****ing hot I have my aircoditioning on at 22 degrees, because anything lower is a waste of energy. Rooms in lockdown can't let any heat in.

104.2 Hogg to Harbhajan Singh, no run, loud shout for lbw but Bowden says not out, Hogg bowls a full ball which pitches on middle stump, Harbhajan misses it and gets hit on the back pad in front of middle, the ball was turning into the right-hander, that was close, Harbhajan can consider himself lucky

Sounds like it was plumb

Harbhajan hits two fours in a row to finish off the over from MJ.. Lofts him down the ground for four, then MJ drops short and he flicks him around the corner for four to fine leg.

This Partnership is the worry, this could turn the match they have now got to 400, Australia looked like having them out for less then that. It becomes alot harder for Australia to win it from here.
