It's much easier to score runs in the first innnings than in the third, as demonstrated both in 04 and 06. If they don't get bowled first they should continue to bat for about an hour and give themselves an hour to bowl. That way they will have a newish ball tomorrow morning as well.

It will be tough getting 20 wickets here but this is an ideal set-up with a big total on the board and a tired opposition. I am really glad they picked 5 bowlers as well. The key will be patience. Australia is bound to get runs but if India keep plugging away and taking their chances they could get Australia out for around 425 with a 100+ lead. Then they will need to score about 250 in a couple of sessions and leave perhaps 100 overs to get Australia out.

And the end finally comes... I was just about to post about the dismissals today of the Indian batsmen. Most of the dismissals, haven't really been from good bowling, but poor shot selection from the Indian batsmen...

Now its Australia's chance to see how that bat on this pitch...

This is looking a little like the Perth test IMO.

India will make around 520
Australia will be 5-under 100 then scramble to 280

India will bumble to all out for 240ish

Australia will be bowled out Harbijan style for 380 mid day 5.

So far Im around the mark....

I hope we aren't 3 or 4 down by the end of play tonight but I get the feeling that something like that could happen with all the swing and just India being really enthusiastic about the way they play.

Aussies are looking slow and old a little lately. :(

I reckon 0/158 after stumps. If we lose a wicket on this pitch we may as well castrate ourselves. KUMBLE made 80+, it would be disgraceful for us to lose any wickets over the next 100 overs.
