I'm not sure if I want to see any of these guys in the home summer

Khawaja - cooked
Warner - cooked
Marnus - Unsure
Smith - If you mention retirement the end is coming real quick
Head - Doesn't have the temperament for test cricket
Green - Is a myth
Carey - Bairstow is better
Bowlers - All trash

I'll give them next test as a farewell :thumbsu:

Punter on Sky has to stop himself from looking too excited while the others go on about how England bossed the game and that it was a disappointing way to retain the Ashes.

Apparently only Stokes will be doing an obiligatory interview with no one else from the team partaking.
Gutless, such ungracious losers.

Brave effort from Australia to survive the day and retain the Ashes while sitting on their arses in the dressing room.

The highlights of Louise Ransome and Tubby Taylor being huddled under an umbrella at Old Trafford will live on in Aussie cricket folklore.

"As a neutral fan"

NZ lost the 2019 ODI World Cup to the Poms in dramatic circumstances too.

I was pissed off that we lost it but I was grateful that I got to witness one of the great ODI finals of all time rather than it being decided by a washout.

Look at the smile on Uzzies face.

Winners are grinners and losers (like you) can please themselves.

Suck it up princess.

Labs century and Marsh's 100 deliveries survived will live long in the memory. As will Uzzy's first Test knocks, Cummins and Lyon's run chase, Smith's second Test century, the late defence of the second Test total (when it looked like Stokes had us) and some great catches.

You can both recognise when your team is/isn't benefiting from something and also realise that it may be better for the game in the future if changes were put in place to mitigate the impact of it for everyone.

Australia have been fortunate and England unlucky with the weather in this test but teams have felt unlucky with the weather in cricket forever and a day. If rain denies the West Indies of a win this summer, they might get some sympathy but very few will have sympathy for England with the predicament found themselves in with the weather just as I'm sure they had no sympathy for Australia on this ground in 2013. That's the way it is with the Ashes. When one country feels hard done by, the other is likely to say 'suck it up'.

If a washout benefitted England and allowed them to regain the Ashes this year, I'd hope many here would look at what Australia could control before using Australia's misfortune to come up with ideas to fix cricket however valid they may seem.

But overall the series has been close and competitive which 'as a neutral' is what you want right? But it's not what you want as you're anything but neutral and you didn't get to see Australia lose like you wanted to. Piss off flog.

He doesn't look that excited, I don't think even the Aussie players would have liked to have retained the Ashes this way despite what they might say.

It's a hollow victory or a hollow draw.
