I posted on here at lunch on Friday that my expectation was they would bat for ten more minutes swinging at everything and declare. Instead they tried to let Bairstow score a 100 and even though he scored at a quick rate they knew the forecast coming up and even one hour of Bairstow batting was one hour less for Australia to bat without taking into account the rain.
I have provided you the record at home under Stokes that was clearly being referenced.
