I don't agree.

They showed him dropping his rear knee to get under the ball and deliberately collapsing towards the off to get into line. That's not overbalancing or slipping, that's a deliberate choice to bring your body into position to hit the line of that ball.

And yes, that's precisely as stupid as it sounds.
