I absolutely agree. It was a pair that invited pressure on one another.

If he's made of the right stuff, and keeps scoring in the shield, probably.

Shoulda, coulda, woulda, wasn't.

So it's irrelevant noise. Though, I do think McSweeney deserves a whack for not going on with it once he got through. A 50-60 keeps him in the squad and he done the hard yards.
When the shield starts again I think the squad for SL will be over there so hopefully McSweeney is over there with them.

It really is pathetic
The constant pushing is what annoys people.

He was excellent. But he’s out. He made 60.

We don’t need his brother interviewed.

18ft skiffs or GTFO.

Never did find out what business Schiavello were in, though.

There used to be some ten pin bowling at the lunch breaks on Ch9 too which was slightly more entertaining than the 18ft skiffs.

Should have been out for 3 and his series would have read 10, 0, 3, 10*, 9 and 4
But he wasn't.

Or do we start judging every innings not on how many runs scored, but on their score when dropped?

they're going into camp before the BBL finals as well. You're correct, the Shield resumes on the same day as the 2nd SL Test,

Why are people trying to diminish the quality and memorability of Konstas' innings? FMD some cricket fans are incapable of positivity, hey.

Credit where credit is due, he made some runs from being unconventional.

Will revisit the love in here in 12 months time (will no doubt be locked in for the ashes) and see how he is travelling and if he continues to play this way and if he sustains it.
Similar to how Bernard Tomic won matches from being unconventional early doors.

When he was worked out. He was cooked.

Both Gavaskar and Kohli are prickly combative characters, no surprise that Sunny is defending Virat, he's a chip off the old block.

Sunny would usually back it up by making a lot of runs, Virat will need to do the same here, he will be copping it when he bats.

The commentators saying that sort of niggle shouldn't be in the game but they would all secretly be loving it, it adds some spice.
Physical bullying and intimidation has no place in cricket, from any nation from any player.
I don't mind a chirp. They are adults playing for their country, but Kholi deliberately shouldered a 19y.o on debut.
It was quite frankly gutless from Kholi.

Maxwell's match-winning 200 not out in the World Cup was actually a poor innings because he was dropped twice.
