Even Australia’s no1 umpire Simon Taufel says nothing in it.

Yeah you don’t want it happening but there was no harm done, a 20% fine and 1 demerit point if they have to be seen to do something

We are worse at it least they don’t have Lyon taking 4 minutes rubbing his head for every non spinning no turn ball he bowls. Jadeja bowls the overs in a minute
Yep it takes Lyon far too long to bowl his overs I agree Australia is the worst at over rates but until teams are fined heavily or have runs added to other sides score or deleted from their score it will keep happening

Also saying that there is 87,000 there today is just bullshite Cricket Australia fudging numbers

Graeme Wood got a recall for the 1988/1989 test series against the Windies when they were still at their best.

He failed twice in the Perth test, got a ton in the second innings at Adelaide, failed twice again in Melbourne and got dropped.

He was also mates with Rod Marsh, I saw them on holidays together down south in WA with their families when I was a kid.

Rod stood outside at a roadhouse having a dart while Graeme and the rest of them all went inside to get the refreshments.
I reckon Adelaide was 4th test in 88/89???

Needs to be in game penalties, 15 runs per over you don’t bowl. Simple and ai bet you captains bowl them

We are to only ones who have it right. How do we say bowlers figures? We say he’s got 3 for 45 not 45 for 3. The other countries swap it around while we keep it the same. It makes no sense.
Just because we do something else the same way (the bowling figures) it doesn't justify having it or not having it the same for the overall figures.

Kurtis Patterson:
Test average- 144
Tests- 2

Mitch Marsh
Test average- 28
Tests- 46

Nobody will ever say it publicly, but I reckon there’s a lot of bemused / annoyed fringe players that haven’t had the favours Marsh received from selectors.

Very good white ball player, but never up to test cricket.

Famous name. Loved in the change rooms. Good guy. Etc.

Been an average test cricketer for most of his 40 plus tests. Had a good knock in England last year and did well last summer, but has dropped away. Lack of runs and clearly not fit to back up bowling. Time to move on soon hopefully.

Unsure how he is in the best 6 test batters in the country? Anyway he should just say he wants to retire at the end of the ashes. Probably keep him till then.

they moved the start time from 11am (back in the day) to 10:30am, and we still can't bowl the minimum overs. it's a joke!

The problem is the extra half hour seems to have just been factored into the days play instead of being as required.

But yes the good old days of channel 9 going to the news mid over at 5:59 every night until Steve Waugh became the first man in history to delay the Ch9 news!!!

Rishabh seems to have improved his keeping. Him standing up to a pacer would have been guaranteed byes previously

He was awful the previous few tests but was heaps better today
