This will sound funny but England probably have a better attack than we do and could well draw India.
Yes but their batsmen struggle with spin more than us

Yeah, I'm a bit sick of the bastards and their horns. Bring on the nice, quiet New Zealanders.

Yeah, go back to easy victories which make Australia look unbeatable.... again :D

What happened to Clarke being ? Seems like he didn't perform to standard this time around, probably due to covering for Ponting

India were just too good on the day, better luck next tour :thumbsu:

Lol, I think he wants someone to reply to it.
Nah, I'm capped and I msut have pressed post twice. It was left hanging forever and it posted without me knowing.

Sounds good coming from you.

Glad they succumbed to another pitiful gutless defeat in the end. They did not deserve to pull off some massive run chase and escape with a draw. Hopefully now a few of these overrated ####en dimwits get the kicking they deserve. Starting with the captain. Although considering Nielsen's comments it's unlikely.

they certainly do. flintoff and harmison at their peak so they're going to propose a far more difficult challenge. im not so sure about their batting though, i reckon mishra will do well against them. should be a good series, one i can watch without having to worry about exams :D

Huh? Harmless just coming back into the side after being sent to do county duty....Freddie coming off numerous injuries. They may pose a challenge next summer after they get some matches under their belts, but England was pretty ordinary until the last test last summer, which was a dead rubber.

New Zealand can only eat plink-ton, and will quickly find themselves beached as without having a buckit and a hoose available

Yes but their batsmen struggle.

Fixed.

I'm pleased to see test cricket becoming a bit more competitive, but I don't like seeing teams shooting themselves in the foot the way Australia did. I get enough of that from England.

Australia should roll New Zealand.

Oh look, the troll rises from the depths.

I wonder how your beloved England will go? I'm awaiting a solid Indian victory (if the recent past is anything to go by).

I don't know if it's an England fan, just anyone playing Australia. You've gotta remember Australia has been fairly dominant over the last 20 years, and that was always bound to put some noses out of joint. :)

No, judging by comments directed at him, he appears to be one. He can come correct me if I'm wrong.

I agree with the crux of your statement, however. There'll always be those who are inflicted with 'tall-poppy syndrome' and other various jealousy issues.

N.B: It's not the fact that he supports England that bothers me, BTW. He could support any nation and I would still have a go.

Aus were always going to struggle now they have come back down with the mortals Luckily for Aus Singh was missing in the last test or it would have been 3-0
Aus will be just as hard to beat at home where the pitches help their bowling .It will be interesting to see how they play in SA SA have a mental frailty against Aus and also Symonds is back

There's a fair chance England will be a lot more competitive than Australia, on the proviso they can get the ball to reverse swing a lot sooner than the Australians did.

Batting order needs a lot less Vaughan too.

Still reckon England will beat Australia next year, for the exact same reasons I espoused before the India series started. If you can't see the massive weakness against reverse swing coming to the fore, you're pretty blind.
