He was very good tonight, as was Caldwell.

What happens when Parish, Shiel and Setterfield return?

Snelling out is obvious as Caldwell played that role earlier in the year. Guelfi might struggle to stay in ahead of Hobbs.

I don’t think Guelfi goes, as we like to play 3 small forwards (at the very least, 2) and Guelfi and Menzie are the first choice.

But you’re right, it’s gonna get tricky.

If you consider parish, Shiel and setterfield as walk up starts (setters the only debatable one out of those), Snelling is the only obvious out.

No doubt the lack of Carlton pressure helped but he has this thing where he changes direction through his hips half way through giving a handball. Saw it on the Merrett-Wright goal and a couple of other occasions
Loved the piece of roving to get the ball there in the first place. And then quickly getting the ball forward rather than looking sideways etc.

Is he the best by hand at the club already? Doesn't quite have the freak pick the ball up on the move and fire off a quick handball like Parish but he's shown that Watson like ability to hit running players in space outside the stoppage.

Career high 26 to go with a goal, has now raised his career high 3 times in the last 5 games.

Quite surprised at the lack of fanfare to be honest

Tends to get pretty low TOG too. Once he can start playing 80%> he’ll be getting into the 30s most weeks.
