We aren’t capable of anything that clever.
Right now they are sitting in a board room listening and reading the negative comments and are absolutely shocked.

Hopefully the agency we fired leaked it or something and we go with something else but I think this is it.

That yellow font on Adelaide will be unreadable at small sizes.

No doubt a committee of non visual people came up with a list of must haves.

Hundreds of thousands of dollars spent.

Get back fancy mockups and a long story about the journey of the crow or something.

Non design people at the club decide that yep this ticks all of the requirements boxes it must be good.

Or we were too cheap to hire a branding/logo agency and just got the person who knocks up the Instagram posts to have a go.

Can’t really imagine other variations of this on things like New Era caps and whatever.

I get the concept. I get what they're going for. I don't actually mind it.

The bit on the wing drives me bonkers.

I think this is their way of public consultation by " leaking " the working design. I think they will fine tune it with the feedback and hopefully get a better version for the official logo

To be fair, on that final 9 version it does look a bit better and I can see the overlapping coloured sections better. I’m coming around. Maybe.

Can see what they're trying to do. Beak is awful though.
