He's next in line, I'd be reluctant to let him go.

What if ROB is injured? We go with one of Himmelberg/Frampton for those games?
himm would have to see the writing on the wall by now and kniw that Tex will get another year.. so the forward line is set for talls. fog, tex, TT.

any chance himm has comes from an injury to one of them and even then Frampton’s probably in front of himm.

himm would be wise to ask for a trade.. suns maybe?.. North?..

if we agree to take a junk pick for himm.. there will be a club that will take him. he’d be on **** all money.

Gold Coast makes sense for Himmelberg.

He’s from there and they need a second ruck/tall forward with massive question marks over Day’s durability.

Maybe Southport Sharks instead.

If he's going to request a trade while still in contract, their freebie compo pick 19 will do. They already sent one to Geelong very cheaply.

We hold the whip hand here.

Was that the first whip hand reference of the year? And we're away!

Would a mid-year trade period ever be an option?

There is some merit to it, also a loan set up like they have in soccer.

Gold Coast rucks would be a great example, could have loaned Coleman-Jones or Chol from Richmond (before Nankervis/Lynch we’re injured). At the end of the season, he returns to Richmond having been exposed to AFL games. It’s a win/win as GC cover an injury crisis whilst Richmond can assess the value of their player.

Only managed to watch the first half of the replay.

Parnell hits the contest. He isn’t just an outside receiver. Very promising

Borlase can’t keep up with anyone on the lead but he is a bulldozer at ground level.

Pedlar would be close to a spin at AFL level. Feels weird to watch a Crows player win a clearance and then burst into space. That’s not how we do things around here mate

Hately wouldn’t be playing AFL anytime soon for me. Let’s see him smash the contest like Berry for a few weeks. Racking up 30 touches mainly uncontested not doing it for me, not what we need from a tall slow midfielder with OK skills.

Cook and Gollant both very strong overhead. Hopefully no more injuries for them, good pre seasons, and we can see them at AFL level early next year.

Who knew Nick Murray can kick the ball so far

So who makes way for him Laird, Seedsman, Keays, Sloane, Schoenberg or McHenry if he's to play midfield?
Much as McHenry has been finally. finding the ball not just giving free kicks away, he doesn't offer anything at the centre square where Hately could and Pedlar will in a few weeks .
Ned role I see as that small defensive fwd .

Interesting where the list changes come from at the end of the year, at this stage you'd keep all the young players and it's senior players you'd probably delist.

We have to upgrade Keays from the rookie list.

Davis is the only sure fire delist option. Others may get a trade or retire from the club.

The list managers job will be hard at the end of the season.
We don't have to upgrade Keays, as this is only his 2nd season on the rookie list. We do, however, need to upgrade Butts.

Love a Frampton set shot. Has he kicked a goal this year we haven't seen the set shot of?

Well, you're in luck, there was three of them.

I don't think Frampton has ever kicked a goal on the run.

Any particular reason the Sturt Merchandise van is up for sale on the trading post website for about 24k?
That's interesting

There was a theft a few months back from the Sturt FC. Can't remember if it was the merchandise van that got stolen

Probably not if the 'thieves' are advertising it as such. Unless they're not very clever

That was the scoreboard equipment and siren that was stolen.

The van looks like the old merch van, which is no longer needed as they built a merch stall in the Jack Oatey stand redevelopment
