Weren't good enough this year. Though it is amusing to see Sydney supporters still sooking about their undisciplined play in last years GF.
Lol, yes and the "undisciplined play" of the other 16 teams that got you there in the first place. What a shame there wasnt quite enough "undisciplined play" for a premiership defence.

Your team lost, yet almost a year later you're still sooking about it. You've got issues

Looking forward to meeting you in the finals this year.

Oh, wait.....

Atleast this is more relevant than crying about last year... and we're still a very slim chance to make it. :D

im not sure the dogs will even make the 8 next year. they will get a harder draw as they wont play north and brisbane twice.

If I were in the 8 I would be doing all I can to play Port in the finals. Worldbeaters against poor opposition. Bottom of the ladder quality team against high quality opposition.

Free kicks 26-19 in favour of the Bulldogs today.

They can't blame the umpires for not going back to back, they did their bit to make it happen just like they did last year.

Umpires don't suffer premiership hangovers like players do though.

The embarrassment is on the other teams who weren't good enough to beat the Dogs in the finals, not even with COLA Franklin and his mates.

You need to realise tje difference between 2016 and 2017. Last year they played brilliantly in the midfield and made it the defining factor in finals. This year they no longer have that advantage and aren't a finals team.

So they were the best team last year?

Yeah embarrassing for the Swans and GWS that they couldn't beat the Bulldogs when they had over double the free kicks as them in two close finals.

The combined free kick count over the prelim and GF last year was 43-21 in the Dogs favour, are you going to tell me that has no effect on the results?

Spot on, midfield hasn't played anywhere near the same level as last year.
