All the noise this club makes about things that aren’t relevant and don’t even matter to the actual club itself, they’ve had 2 big special occasion chances to show what they’re about. The Russell every tribute game and now this premiership anniversary and choked both times! Club name should be changed to Pathetic Adelaide

All downhill since he declared them potentially the best midfield trio ever

I think on paper they are one of the best trios. In practice though I think they’re all a bit too similar as players.

Statistically, all 3 of them had good games. High numbers in possessions, efficiency and score involvements.

However, Brisbane beat Port up in contested footy, and none of them could go with Neale and Dunkley in that area.

A bit too similar and two of them are a bit too small. Don’t have the body and ferocity to go with the likes of the Lions mids, and dare I say the Hawks mids.

They’re 3rd with players to come back.

Important to peak at the right time.
My conservative ladder predictor, which is probably rubbish I might add, has the Pies outside the eight by round 18. My predictor is heavily biased towards the Hawks, Syd, Blues, Bombers, GC, Bris, WB, Giants and Dockers.

Nowhere near it.

Rozee is statistically one of the most overrated players in the league.

JHF isn’t close to an elite midfielder yet.

It’s Butters and 2 x B+ midfielders.

I agree their form hasn’t been great, and any other side I would probably agree with you.

However, I remember back in 2022, I was saying that they’re not actually that good and the close games would catch up with them. However it’s been 2 and a half years of them under Fly and they just keep winning.

Doesn’t matter how ugly they’re winning, they’ve proven they’re a threat.

They were a lot better last year, and even when their better players were on the park, their form wasn't as good. Earlier in the year they were upset with DeGoey for example, there's no guarantee he'll be the '23 version.
