we lost to wooden spooner west coast at home with finals on the line last season so its on you with the expectations this time lol
Beveridge after the game: "well really, it was only just that one bigfooty poster that thought we should be pushing for if not finishing in the 8. Look, we'll review the game as usual and have discussions with Bongo Drum on where things went wrong. We may need to reassess our expectations with the board and also BD."

****in love a josh carr coached team

It's an interesting discussion. Players obviously love him and have for the past 10 years. But at what point does the club step in, look at the w/l no grand final record and make a change for the better of the football club?
Clubs review their coaches, support staff, playing list every year, irrespective of wins/losses. If the coach is doing the job the board expects, then he's fine. If not, he's gone. Simple as that.

As for the Bulldogs, every time I start thinking maybe they're a chance to contend for a flag, they turn in a performance like today. The problem I have with AFL is there are too many teams and not enough good ones.

What does Butters want the AFL to look at? A suspension for a push? The Dogs have been utterly pathetic and a player asking for the AFL to look at something during a game is also pathetic .

So does Kenny only coach when Port loses?

I wish he was coaching when we play Port.
No it’s the reverse. Kenny only coaches when Port win, but it’s nothing to do with him when they lose, according to the media protection racket.

Does this look like a ken structured gameplan? Our midfield has run rampant and been the barometer for the game, I'll let you guess who the midfield coach is. Its much more than the players just "playing for ken"

Surprised by this. Thought the Dogs were gonna be a flag smokie with their new fitness boss and come home hard in the second half of the year. They still could be and this game I don't think is over yet because Port can be a team or two halves as well.

I feel you are the only one who regularly thinks the fitness guy is a factor. Maybe he will be in time but im not seeing it.

Well, I look at the Dees when they had Burgess, Crows last year under Burgess, Pies 22-23 last quarter specialists, Carlton this year.

But it looks like I was wrong, it hasn't done Adelaide any favours this season.

Was sure the Dogs would push for top 4, now top 8 looks 50-50.
