When I saw Curnow had 5 free kicks I assumed he kicked a bag and a half.

Dunstall only got 5 frees once in his entire career. He took 18 marks and kicked 17 goals that game.

I guess Hawks are ed next week. AFL will need to go full ** to ensure the Blues stay top 4.

Umps went down on their knees and gave burnt offerings to their false idol for 2 and a half quarters before they realised he is a big curly haired freak

Once the umps gained some sense of sanity we won easy

Carlton played one good quarter & got out to 30 points but they were out of Gas by 1/2 time.
Port out pressured & outran them for 2 quarters & eased by with about 10 minutes left during which they kicked clear by 2 more.

Haha I love Umpiring bashing as much as the next bloke but if Port just kick a couple of those chances in the second and the game would have been much tighter regardless of the umpiring

Of course. All injuries matter.
Port have 7 on their list. 3 were listed as test and 1 of those played, so call it 6. How many would be in the best 23? 3-4?

Blues have 13 on their list, 5 were listed as test. 1 of those played, but one who was named was a late withdrawal, so still 13. How many would be best 23? I would say 6, with another 3 being fringe and probably next in line for the other outs.

Who knows what happens if those guys from both sides play.

Wasn't a fan of us going hard for him but happy to say I was wrong
