Yep, just like us, Adelaide have no plan B.

It is why i would like Worsfold gone.

To be fair I think plan B is an overrated concept. Clarko has said as much in the past. You put a lot of effort into training your players to understand and implement plan A, the thought that suddenly trying a completely different plan during the game is going to come off any better seems like wishful thinking. Clarko is a great coach because he comes up with a plan A that the entire team, including Box Hill can be drilled in, and every player understands their role extremely well. This is very important for your bottom 4-6 players too, it allows you to make spuds look like decent role players when they execute plan A as the coach has requested them to. While he does make tweaks during the game if things are not working, it is not 'plan B', but rather some fine tuning on plan A. Clarko is also a no Plan-B coach.

Absolutely pumped for this game. Crows expected for big things in season 2019 with players coming back from injury, and the mighty fighting Hawks who always do just that. Fight. A very dangerous side are Hawthorn and made the top 4 last season after many wrote them off. A hard task playing at Adelaide Oval away to a boisterous South Australian Crowd, but I feel the Hawkers will be up for the challenge and if they can withstand the early storm will be right in it up to their eye balls. Their forward line is as good as any, once they're fully fit will take many big scalps throughout the year. Anything can happen in this one. Get blown out, or win the game in true Hawthorn fashion displaying guts and determination, backs against the wall. Perhaps a narrow 13 point loss and a gritty performance is more likely, who knows. One thing I do know is when they get all their players back on the park firing on all cylinders, they're going to be a scary beast to contend with.
Yep.

Why are they calling this 'the upset of the round?'

Ladder last year should give some indication.

People are expecting Adelaide to return to 2017 form. Plus it was in Adelaide. On what I saw the 2018 ladder is pretty accurate.

Port beating Melbourne in Melbourne is a bigger upset. Given there's only been 4 games you're a 25% chance.

Saw the first half, relatively even, Adelaide's skills ordinary. Saw the last 10 minutes, relatively ordinary, Adelaide's skills ordinary.

What happened in the 40 minutes I missed?? 23 scoring shots to 11 at 3QT. Should this be a 40-50 point game?
Shanktember. Should of been a 50 point lead by 3/4th time we missed 3 bunnies, and 2 50/50 shots during the third.

Then Adelaide butchered 2 chances to peg it back, game over.

All the "experts" were so sure the Hawks will be a poor side this year, and as usual, the crows get over-rated. There are a lot of very disappointed people at the moment :)
