I'm referring to the entire season. Not just today.

Noone wants to play blue collar footy. Your guys are all looking for the champagne play.

It is clear as day.

I'm referring to the entire season. We have won the I50 count in every game and over conceded going the other way.

It's a system break down, nothing to do with your champagne theory

Yup, they're not willing to do the hard yards. Haven't really changed in that respect since last year. It's all well and good getting inside 50's, but if they're not directed to anyone (because they're simply not there), they're pretty pointless.

Honestly at this point I'd put feelers out for Petracca to see what other clubs would pay. Strike while he's young. Plays like he has never had to think at junior level due to size, athleticism and natural talent. But those things aren't as standout at AFL level.

Melbournes Midfield is far too slow. Every time I watch them they get done on the Spread. Viney, Jones, Oliver, Petracca, Harmes, brayshaw all have one-gear and only one gear. Consistently beaten in transition.

Need to find an explosive pacey mid and a traditional wingman (easier said then done). Unsure why Nathan Jones plays on a wing.

By no means are they a bad team. They’ll come good, play some good footy and definitely beat some good teams. But due to this glaring weakness, I don’t see them being a genuine flag threat.

Saints are now on top of the ladder. Must be years since that's happened.

Many tipped them for bottom 4. Good on them, especially with the injuries they've got.

Their rise from 2015 to 2017 looked like they were set for a jump into the 8 sometime. A massive failure in 2018 definitely readjusted expectations but perhaps they are back on track?
