For anyone worried about Tom Lynch after he absolutely mauled Dougal Howard last week.

He kicked 1.0 last time we played (no Dougal)

3.4 before that (with Dougal on him)

6.2 before that (with Dougal on him)

0.0 before that (no Dougal)

Wow no changes. Not sure on that bit I guess they're backing the team that got it done last week.
Not a big surprise. I actually saw the headline for the teams being named on the AFL website, and they had a photo of Chol, and I shat myself, thinking they'd picked him :tearsofjoy: I'm happy with this line-up.

Power defender Hartlett suggests Lynch’s emotions get the better of him on the field and indicated that plenty of people in the football world would love to see the Tigers beaten tonight so his season were to “come to an end”.

“He obviously gets caught up in the emotions of the game probably a bit more frequently than others do,” he said on FIVEaa.

“I guess others are able to control their instinct and reactions perhaps on their emotions a little bit better than what Tom does.

“I think there’d be plenty of people out there who would like to see his season come to an end. I’ll leave it at that.”

I like it, Reckon Hartlett will drop off in front of a leading Lynch? Reckon Lynch will put his knee through him? Can't wait for this.

I reckon there will be more niggle and spot-fires in this game than we've seen for a while.

To be fair, he's probably not wrong. At least he's being accurate with his honesty.

With the wet n wild conditions tonight i'm expecting both teams to have a pressure rating above 200.

If an Afl team can't manage this they are not worthy to be in Afl grand final.

Does anyone still know how this figure is worked out or one of the media personal just put it wherever they reckon?

Each possession gets a points rating based on how much pressure it was under - e.g a tackle is highest then there’s closing space, corralling etc and then 0 is given to a totally uncontested possession. Pressure rating is the average of all those.

I’m not sure if includes marks/frees where no pressure can be applied, and also unsure of the difference between the version fox footy uses where 200 is elite, or the other version coaches sometimes quote where it’s more like 2.0 is elite. I figure it’s just a scaled version but I can’t find anything that will confirm either way.

Last time we played we hardly went inside 50 and that 0 goals before that would have been playing with the Suns.
This game will be completely different to the game earlier in the year, doesn’t mean we’ll beat you however I’m confident you won’t smash us out of the middle like you did previously.

I understand that Channel 7s pressure figures are based on the pitch of Bruces voice
