Not yet, but a big chance tonight. To be fair, we haven't been successful enough lately to be disliked.
Crows would have to be on the Tigers mostly. If Port knock us off tonight and play Collingwood in finals next year I'm still getting behind Port in that game. Not yet, but a big chance tonight.
Given the Crows hatred of Port, who will SA support tonight?
We were terrible back then but ol Terry always had a likeable nature to me, almost like the friendly used car salesmen. Was still taking credit for the dogs 16 and tigers 17 flags, gotta love plough.Ah yes the Terry Wallace days, how I do not miss them
Put in place a 5 year plan to get us Dusty, nearly blew it when we sacked him and missed out on pick 1. Just lucky it only ended up in Melbourne's hands. We were terrible back then but ol Terry always had a likeable nature to me, almost like the friendly used car salesmen. Cheers mate, not sure if the rain will suit either side better?Very average weather at the moment over here. Gonna be a slog I think View attachment 986722
We are usually good in the wet but might suit port more. I’d imagine by game time it won’t be that wet, not according to the forecasts anyway.Cheers mate, not sure if the rain will suit either side better?
We love the wet too, far cry for many years ago when we absolutely hated it.We are usually good in the wet but might suit port more. I’d imagine by game time it won’t be that wet, not according to the forecasts anyway.
Generally contested bigger bodied mids like the wet which port are, suits us as well with our push it fwd at all costs usually, however tonight I hope it’s not to wet as think we can gain an advantage with lynch and jack up forward. We love the wet too, far cry for many years ago when we absolutely hated it.
Port and the other interstate teams did the hard yards at the start of the season. Cry me a river, the Victorian clubs have had to go out of their comfort zone for a season. Instead of playing 80% of games in Victoria. So hard done by!!Does this year's premiership even count if the GF ends up being between the only 2 half decent non-Hub teams?
One of Richmond or Geelong better get through or the whole thing really turns into a farce.

Dunno. Don't think theyre too happy about 2017 still. On the other hand it is Port. I think Crows fans will be washing their hair tonight.Crows would have to be on the Tigers mostly.
Generally I like the Tigers when it rains, but Port is probably one opponent that it might favour more given their relative strength inside and shorter backline might not be as vulnerable in the air.We love the wet too, far cry for many years ago when we absolutely hated it.

I don't think he's crying long term hard done by, I think it will be a relevant question to be asked next week, and it will be. It's a 2020 thing, generally speaking teams don't contend with hubs and being away from home since early season.Port and the other interstate teams did the hard yards at the start of the season. Why? This is the only season where some teams get lots of home games and other teams get none. Brisbane probably should have been sent to a hub in SA for a block of games to even it up a bit.Haha, what a joke.
Yeah, write the season off and don't even play the Grand Final I agree. A farce indeed if a Vic team doesn't win it. Like any year really.Does this year's premiership even count if the GF ends up being between the only 2 half decent non-Hub teams?

Surprised the AFL didn't break into two conferences and play a VFL conference and an AFL conference (no need to travel to-from Vic then) and then quarantined for 2 weeks into a Superbowl type final.
Or maybe just left the Vic teams to play themselves to make sure one of them won (crown themselves World Champions even), and the rest of Australia can get on with a inferior national comp.
It's all good though, we'll all go back to "normal" next year and it'll all seem like a bad dream......Isn't it stunning how quickly the narrative changes?
If the shoe were on the other foot and Victoria was the team where all teams had to hub, I doubt you'd have posters like above screaming about it being a farce when a Victorian team wins it.
"If you're good enough to win it on the day, you're good enough"
"5 star accommodation"
"Not our fault Victoria has most of the teams here anyway, bad luck"
"Seems like you're using hotels and hubs as an excuse for your inferior performances"
