I'm talking specifically about the kick after the 3/4 time siren. That was the correct call.

Secondly - Doesnt the rule state the quarter ends when the fu signals an end to the quarter?

So even if the siren did go before or after the kick, it does not matter, and it's a goal either way as no fu signalled an end to the quarter.?

Port can complain about the umpiring all they want, but they really should be flogging a bottom 3 team (on paper) in what Richmond have fielded this afternoon (with from all the kids/inexperienced players perspective I may add)

Let’s be honest Port aren’t a real contender. Have been shaky for a while now and don’t look the part against a bottom 6 side, at home and with finals to come.

Well he took a bounce when he being tackled which should've been holding the ball so some calls go his way. It wasn't a big tackle but the letter of the law says its holding the ball.

I think that's the old rule. Pretty sure it's been changed to when the umpire hears the siren.
